Customer service is horrendous now. Nobody greets or helps you.
I went to purchase jeans, nobody asked if I needed any help what so ever. Got to cash, 3 employees standing behind the tills talking with each other, took almost a full minute for either of them to realize I was standing there. The girl that rang me through had zero personality. I doing a split payment, mall card and debit, they couldn't get the mall card to work which was fine, things happen, but it was handled crappy.
This is nothing like it was when it first came to the mall and the staff cared about doing their job.

Some of the clothes can be ok you really have to look for the ones that fit and are fashionable .the tend to look like more for the outdoors ie gal .instead of dress up gal .I find.The prices can range from low too high .. but they can go on sale .

Prices are super good this time of the year. 60% off sale on seasonal clothing.. I got 3 cardigan sweaters @ $15.96 ea. =$47.88+tx=$55.06!!! I had been to many stores to find a long, black, light & fine knit cardigan with pockets. I went to the Lambton Mall(Sarnia location) on another mission & went to Maurice's on a whim 'let's check this store out'. First thing inside the store I see a light grey cardigan, but it was a new arrival, talking to Candace to see if the grey sweater was 60% off, it was not. However she did inform me that there were others in the 60% off section! I was elated & so grateful she took the time to let me know when most staff at most stores seem to be hiding(on break possibly) or too busy doing other tasks to be 'bothered' with customer service. Also, the lady at the cash was also very sweet & made sure that my purchases went towards my loyalty program. Maurice's will be my first stop next time I shop for clothing, for sure!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I was recently in this store trying on dresses. The associate felt comfortable enough to say to me "I can see your rolls through that dress" I couldn't believe my ears, I was mortified. I will not be shopping here again. I thought this was a safe place to find clothes and feel good in what your in and it was the complete opposite. The associate made sure of that. Disgusting.
