Need 3x as much staff in the shipping and receiving department. The line up is through half the store most days. Takes 30-45 mins to pick up a parcel. God help you if you want to mail something, bring a lawn chair

Went in to purchase a product that showed it having stock online. When in the store, I saw the items on the shelf (though it required assistance to recover it from the back). I waited around to be told that it was an inventory error and that the item(s) in question weren't here.
Proceeded to order the items online to be picked up at the store. Within 20 minutes the items were magically found and given to someone I had pick up the order in my place.
Amazing service. Don't give them business if you can get it elsewhere in the city.

I had a very bad experience with the shipping department. I paid for express shipping, but they didn’t even prioritize sending it to Purolator. I’m also dissatisfied with the way the staff communicated with me. She didn’t listen while I was speaking and kept interrupting.

Hard to get help, staff are present and dont offer to help. You'll figure out everything yourself.

Eeshma in the shipping services department was awful. If you're going to work in customer service, have basic customer service skills. There are tons of people looking for jobs that would be grateful to be in this position. Do not put employees in positions like this unless you are confident they are going to set a good example for your store. I will not be back.

This store doesn’t deserve any stars. Customer service horrendous!!!! We went in to buy a $500.00 item. It was an item that was extremely heavy! The item
Was at the very back of the store. We went to get a cart to bring item to the front to pay. However you now have to pay .25 cents for a cart. Who carry’s change now a days??? We were the only customers in the store at 530 pm. There was a group of staff carrying on a conversation by the check out counter. They watched my husband try to get a cart but he couldn’t get one without paying the quarter. The staff stared at him… one guy even shrugged his shoulders as if to say… sorry I can’t help you. Not one employee was willing to help so we walked out!!! We thought it best before we say something we’d regret!!!! Then we called to speak with the manager as we were so disgusted with this customer service or lack of!!!! It took 6 times to
Keep calling to get someone to answer the phone. Again the message stated they can’t answer the phone as they are busy. They sure weren’t busy. We were still in the parking lot. No one walked in so there are now no Customers in the store. When I finally got through to speak to a manager…. This person wanted to justify why they just lost a $500.00 sale over .25 cents and no customer service. Her first words were how busy they were. Really???? Come on people. Read your reviews!!!! There’s a reason why no one shops in this store. Majority of comments is how terrible your customer service is!!!! Your staff felt it was more important to visit with each other than actually do what they were there for…. Serve a customer. I know we’ll never walk in this store again!!!!! FYI. Amazon has the exact same product for a bit cheaper and you know what….. they deliver to your door!!!! What customer service would you choose???? Sure not staples in Sarnia!!!!

I stop today to get some photocopies and I was having trouble ask one of the two indias girls where standing there talking , one came to help but still didn’t work ask her again and she told me to wait I did , I see this two girls are just talking there, were not doing anything after they saw me waiting she came to tell me to wait again until her co-worker was done I guess (talking) terrible

I rarely write reviews, but this Staples experience was so annoying I had to vent.
My wife and I both had returns. In the past, Staples would print the return labels and pack things up...easy. This time? Nope. I was directed to the self-serve kiosk where I had to pay to print labels. Fine. Mildly annoying, but whatever.
Then I took the labels to the counter, only to be told I needed to buy an envelope. The one I grabbed wasn’t priced...because apparently it's a surprise! And it rang up as $5 for a single envelope. I declined that generous offer and instead crammed everything into a reusable bag and used the packing tape on the counter. That’s when she hit me with the grand finale...they charge for tape too!
Meanwhile, my kids had picked out a few small toys and backpacks, but after that nickel-and-dime circus, I told them to put everything back. Staples could’ve had a decent sale but instead, they chose chaos.
I won’t be spending another dollar at this store. What a masterclass in how not to treat customers.

I've had quite a few bad experiences here. Two with the man at the shipping center. Today I dropped off two return packages. When I asked for the receipts I was told he couldn't give me them as the network was down, but that he'll take down my email address and mail me the receipts. I thought this was odd but gave my email and trusted him that he would send them. Well it's midnight and I still haven't received the receipts. Also his demeanor is poor, he's impolite and during the previous experience with him he was argumentative. Another bad experience was the lady who tried selling me phone plans when I was looking at phone cases a while back when I visited the store. I told her I was not interested in changing my existing phone plan at the moment, and asked her if she could help me find the phone case I was looking for. She flat out told me that she would not. I walked away and she came after me apologizing. Why ruin a customer's day pushing so hard for a cheap sale? It's all so off-putting

Don't let the name fool you, they also sell paper!
The gentleman working at the mobile/internet station got me a great deal on home internet plan. Worth checking out!
I've printed lots from here and use their shipping drop off service (Purolator, FedEx, UPS) often. Never any issues.
