I would give 0 stars here if I could.Found out on 02/15 that there had been a fire on 02/13 at this facility where I have rented a storage unit for a number of years. The individual who phoned me started to tell me I could come in that afternoon when an insurance adjuster would be there to review the situation, then abruptly changed the story to indicate that "actually nobody can go in today" and someone else would have to call me back to make arrangements for me to come and review the situation. As a side note, I know someone else who has a storage unit at the same location, and they were notified on 02/13.One week later, and I had received no further calls or information about the incident, or if the fire had impacted my belongings specifically. I then receive an automated email thanking me for my patronage, saying they're "sorry to see me go" and asking for my feedback.I call the number on the email, and ask for the individual whose name was on the email. She's not in the office, but another individual offered to try to help me. I explained the situation, he pulled up my file, and lo and behold, they had opened my storage unit, taken my personal belongings, and moved them to another facility without ever even calling and discussing it with me, let alone asking my permission. The individual I was speaking to said he could provide no further information other than that he knew where my belongings were, and that they were "safe", and that I'd have to speak to the initial individual that I'd asked for to get more information. He took my information and said she'd call me back when she was in the office that afternoon.The next morning (today), when I still hadn't received a return call, I called again and spoke to another individual who indicated that she (again) was out of the office, and he could pass on my message but couldn't guarantee she'd call me back today. It's now close of business and I still have not heard anything.Extremely concerned that any business would find it acceptable to go into my personal storage unit, which I have paid over $10,000 in rent for over the amount of time I've rented here, and take and move my personal items without having the decency to call and discuss the situation with me and to ask me how I'd like to proceed.Would never recommend that anyone deal with this company - the lack of customer service is truly appalling. I understand that this is a difficult situation, but in my experience that is all the more reason to provide good service and support to your customers that have been affected based on something that happened at your facility.

Dependable, consistent service. I would have given 5 stars if U-Haul would fix the doors on the outside units. For the price of the unit I shouldn't have to have 2 people just to slide the door open. A little lubrication on the track would be wonderful! My requests for this have not been answered.

Make sure you call as the website is inaccurate. Units rented/reserved online are not always available when you show up to store your items. Free lock advertised is a strait up lie; have another $14 ready for the disc lock you have to purchase from them. Rates are reasonable though, some of the lowest in town. Units are clean. Overall good value.

Lori is single handedly ruining your company. Worst employee, let alone GM, ever. Extremely unprofessional, combative towards calm confused customers, doesn't know a thing about customer service obviously besides what she lied on her resume. Absolutely ridiculous
