I recently had a disconcerting experience at a local pharmacy where I observed a lack of proper handling and consideration for children's life-saving medication. The way these crucial medicines were treated, reminiscent of narcotic substances, raised serious concerns.In light of these issues, I am compelled to take a formal course of action. I intend to draft a detailed report outlining the specific instances and circumstances that led to my dissatisfaction. This report will be submitted to the Ontario College of Pharmacists to ensure that the matter is thoroughly investigated and addressed.I believe that maintaining a high standard of care for life-saving medications is paramount, especially when it comes to the health and well-being of children. By reporting this to the appropriate authorities, I hope to contribute to the improvement of pharmaceutical practices, ensuring that all patients receive the respect and professionalism they deserve.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. I wanna start by saying I’m not the kind of person to leave reviews of any local businesses (especially negative) but I feel like this needs to be made public as these people are medically irresponsible.Ran out of my prescription of anxiety medication that I’ve been taking for over a year and my psychiatrist was on holidays therefore could not renew a prescription so I told the IDA what happened and if there was anyway to get my prescription even for a week… these medications are not meant to be stopped abruptly for there can be VERY SEVERE side effects. Long story short. Frank would not renew a prescription for me but only gave me 1 singular pill for the day and then told me I would have to go sit in emerge… which ultimately I had to do. RPN at the hospital said this was very irresponsible and never should have happened to me. Then went to Shoppers in the Cambrian mall and I had a consult with their pharmacist and she was excellent and again told me that that never should have happened. (RPN & pharmacist both agreed that medication refill should have just been given with no issues) she again validated my concerns that these medications are DANGEROUS to stop all at once. Needless to say I’ll be going to shoppers from now on. Market mall is terrible and I will never recommend anyone I know to go there ever again. I was a customer for over 15 years and now you have lost me due to this lack of care. Shame on you for doing this to someone with anxiety issues and then forcing them to sit in emerge for 6 hours bc of your lack of knowledge of medications.

Horrible service.People behind the counter are 15 years old and don’t know the first thing about how to talk to someone.No initiative.No due diligence.I call to ask if there is a prescription there for my pregnant fiancée. They ask for my address. Okay, cool. Verify. I get it. But then they ask me what kind of script it was. Okay, cool. This is what it’s for. Only to tell me there’s nothing there for her.Ridiculous.I would give 0 stars if I could because this IDA at MARKET MALL is GARBAGE.Already called Shoppers and moved the file to them.

Took my 88 year old father to theWalk-In Clinic yesterday. We left there being told that he would have 1 of 25 doctors he works with from the Toronto area call me. That was yesterday. No answer today..so called pharmacy. Man who answered said he was the same guy. Very rudely stated that he told me 3 times yesterday it would be 24 hrs. Not once did he say that. He was Very rude! Totally unacceptable for my 88 year old father or I to be treated this way.

I was at the Pharmacy yesterday to pick up my prescription and realized I was do for my second Shinrx shot and thought I may as well get my second one there and pay the $20.00 for them to give it to me. My first shot was 6 months prior and at that time I had the coverage. 6 months later I am now 65 years old and they told me my old age security does not cover the $169.89 cost. I ended up paying that cost. While I was waiting for the prescription to be filled I text my wife to let her know what was happening she told me she had her second shot at her Doctor's office and there was no cost. When I got home we looked up ohip / what is covered when you are 65 and older. Yes Shinrx shot is covered but only when you have your doctors administer it which makes no sense to me. I called my doctor's office this morning they told me there is nothing they can do now but also wondered why I wasn't informed of that by the Pharmacy. I think it's time for us to change Pharmacy's.

IRRESPONSIBLE........!!!!!!I’ve been using this pharmacy and their walk-in clinic since a year. Everything’s good except their negligence towards their patients. It has happened so many times that they do not provide with your medical prescription on time. Many a times I get my prescription transferred to another pharmacy as I’m not in Sault ste Marie but they’ve usually taken a week to do it. It just made me insane today as I told them to fax my medical as soon as possible (because I wasn’t well for last week and was on treatment) and got myself re-examined today, being that the requirement for me to resume my work today but again they didn’t do that and I’ve got fired from my work. Completely disappointed today!!
