Advance Hobbies is a gem and a cool shop for anyone into RC cars, planes, or model kits like Gunpla. The store has a very nice and excellent selection, with TONS of already built models in display cases. They offer a good selection from SD to MG kits, along with items like action bases and Tamiya products. While not the biggest selection for some items and with prices described as fair, alright, and around medium—pretty much the same as everywhere else—many customers are happy to support this local business. The service is outstanding, top-notch, immediate, welcoming, and friendly. The staff and owner are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and always happy to help both beginners and experienced hobbyists. They really care about the hobby community. Customers highly recommend checking it out in the GTA for its knowledgeable service and cool stuff, noting it reminds them of old times.
Not the biggest selection of Gundam, but enough that you'd find something to build. Service however was outstanding. I'd rather pay a bit extra and support a local business. Knowledgeable and friendly.
