I wanted to return an item to this Canadian Tire at Lawrence Ave East Cedarbrae Mall. It was about 6.30pm 7 March 2024 and a lady with tan complexion of Asian descent assisted me at the Returns Counter. I presented the item and with my original receipt. She was not able to help assist me stating that the item needs to be return to the SAME store where it was purchased. Not questioning that remark, I drove to another Canadian Tire store that was closest to my home. This was not the store I purchased the item. The Returns counter accepted my return and refunded the monies on the spot hassle free. I asked the question and it turns out that it is a policy of Canadian Tire to accept any refunds from ANY Canadian Store. So I would like a response from Canadian Tire at Lawrence Ave East Cedarbrae Mall why my refund was rejected by this lady with tan complexion of Asian descent at the Returns Counter of the Canadian Tire at 6.30pm 7 March 2024. ZERO STARS! Terrible Service!!

This store is not family friendly. They do not permit you to carry a diaper bag in the store. You either need to leave it in your car, or if you don't have that option, leave it with their staff at the customer service desk. This is extremely inconvenient and they are pretty much saying that they think all of their customers are shoplifters. I will choose to shop elsewhere, where if I need supplies for my son, I am able to carry them with me.

Had an amazing experience with Zara. She was so helpful in recommending products and even going out of her way to find items from the back stock!

Worst CT store in the area! Especially customer Service, I bought an item from this store on January 28th and I now (Feb 08th) discovered that the price on that reduced by $40+ Tax. So, I went to claim the refund of the price difference based on ''Price Guarantee Policy of the CT'' but I was refused saying it's valid only within 7 days whereas every other CT stores have 30 days price guarantee policy. Basically, although the store is named CT but they are just making their own policy which is even worse than the policy of a small grocery store around the corner.

The cashiers here are terrible. They hate their jobs and it shows. Get some proper staff or training.

I frequently visit canadian tire near cedarbrae mall. Me and my wife went on February 03 saturday (2024) evening the time. between 17.55 - 18.00 the security near the exit door wanted to check our back pack bags. We opened all sides of our bags to show nothing inside. it's a disgusting ugly behavior of your store. You have the rights to check any one's bags near the exit door, because we're in your store, but, only if you have congrete proof.Hereafter my family members never enter your store to buy anything. I am decided to cancel my Canadiantire triangle master card.Good bye to your bad attitude

I purchased some ice skates here recently, which come with complementary skate sharpening. I brought two other pairs of older skates with me, and paid the fee for both of those skates to be sharpened as well. The next day, we went ice skating only to realize that all 3 pairs of skates were not sharp at all - they were smooth, dull and didn't even shave off the back of my nail when scraped on any part of the skate! They were sharper before I brought them in. Went back to Cedarbrae to ask for a refund, and the store manager was very dismissive, and kinda rude. I calmly explained why I was there and that I would need to go to a different store to have the skates sharpened, so I wanted a refund since there is clearly something wrong with their skate sharpening machine. The store manager came over and loudly explained that he didn't know what I wanted him to do, but that I had paid for a service so they were not going to give me a refund because they had provided the service. He said they could sharpen them again, but I said there is no point, as the machine does not sharpen skates. He then repeated that he didn't know what I wanted then, and walked away. I felt he was very condescending and a bit hostile. Will not be going back there again. Ended up going to another Canadian Tire at Rylander where they were able to sharpen all 3 skates - had to pay again for a service that should have been done properly the first time. Don't go to this location for skate sharpening or you will regret it!
