Terrible experience with a teller named Dakshi. When I told her I'd like to file a formal complaint regarding her service, she wouldn't tell me her last name, give me her card, or even let me write down her name. Yes that's right, she said I "wasn't allowed to write down her name" and that I need to remember it. What should have taken 5 minutes led to a 20 minute back and forth (the long wait time reviews at this branch are justified because their tellers, such as Dakshi, likely aren't trained well which leads to long service times)1. She wouldn't allow me to withdraw more than $3000 at the teller (although I've withdrawn much larger amounts from tellers in the past)2. When I asked her to ask a manager or someone for approval, she said there's no managers here today and that I need to come back another time. When asked who the next in charge is, she advised “he’s on the phone”. When asked when he’ll be free, she said “I don’t know, he’s always on the phone”. As a CIBC Client, it's not my responsibility to time my bank visits to when there are managers around. After insisting, she "messaged someone" at the branch who gave her approval. Complete waste of time as she could've done this from the get go3. Upon wanting to file a formal complaint, as mentioned above, she quite literally wouldn't let me write down her name, and said I need to remember it or only she can write it down for us. The picture attached is her giving me her name (which was on her nametag, so not sure how this helped). She refused to give me her full name or a business card.4. As we were leaving, another representative (which I assume is her friend) pleaded me not to tell the manager about her). This whole experience was probably the most unprofessional thing I've ever experienced at a bank.This experience has really left a sour taste in my mouth and I will no longer be banking with CIBC.

Don't waste your time. I have made 3 appointments at this location1. They didn't phyically show up, no warning!2. Online they didn't even show up. Even though I was emailing the person about the RRSP.3. Arrived early, meeting started late, rude and rushed.

Today I visited the CIBC bank Morningside branch to get some services about my transactions.When I was in the que to get my chance to meet the officer at the vounter one lady offiicer who was assisted to the custmers agreed to assist me to get my service.Later I knew her name as Rachel Yao .She was friendly and attended my service quickly .I appreciate her prompt sevice and she would be an asset to CIBC..

I went to a CIBC branch, and I was really impressed with their exceptional customer service and friendly staff. There was a particular staff member, who I'm not sure if he was a manager, that personally assisted every customer with their questions. The staff member ar the counter who helped me was extremely courteous and helpful. This was the first positive experience I've had in Canada since my arrival.

Always long lineups. Lots of bank personnel walking around looking busy. Not enough number of tellers to serve clients and get the line moving. Always disappointed and makes me regret having my business account at this branch.

I’ve never written this long of a review but I had such a terrible experience at this branch that I feel I must share. The incident involves a female teller wearing glasses whose name I remember starts with the letter “R” that mishandled my money and gave me incorrect banking information. I visited this branch on September 9 to deposit money at the teller. After they put the cash through a money counting machine, the amount they was $110 less than what I counted (multiple times) at home. When I questioned the amount, the teller hand-counted the $20 bills and said she counted 2 more $20 bills than what the machine counted, so $40 more than the initial machine-counted amount. But that was still less than what I counted. I was extremely sceptical so I didn’t go through with the transaction and requested the money back. I then requested to transfer money from my flexible GIC account to my chequing account and was told by that same teller that the GIC couldn't be cashed.So I left the bank without completing any of the transactions I wanted to make.I then went to another CIBC branch where the employee there was much more professional and transparent with my money. Without my request, they faced the money counter towards me so I could see the count of each denomination and recounted multiple times to confirm the correct amount of cash being deposited, which was the correct amount that I initially had counted. I was also able to transfer money from my flexible GIC to my chequing account. I will not be going back to the Morningside Crossing branch ever again and strongly caution against anyone going to this branch!

Soooooooio sloooooow, man. They should arrange bed for the clients to take a nap. 45 min to an hour give and take for serving a client. They should replace all the employees since they are serving less talking more.

Made an appointment with Rachel Yao and showed up on time to open an account but just to be turned away. Apparently they’re “too busy” to open an account for you even after an appointment which they tell you to make when you line up to see a teller. I was going to open one with CIBC but not anymore. “Too busy” isn’t the point of an appointment to make it a smooth process BECAUSE you’re busy? They need to go to customer service classes 101. I will report her to head office for lack of unprofessional & racial profiling.

I am here today a lineup like 30 people on raw and only 3 tills are open they should upgrade there customer service and stuffing time is gold for everyone one banking facilities now a a day is a vision for the sectors spending of 2 hour for only a regular banking is not worth it
