Had a terrible experience with this branch a few years back. The branch manager was disgusting to deal with, and because of him, I refuse to do any banking with CIBC. They lost me as a customer, for life.

I had a pre approved credit card, i was told on phone that no credit check will be required to get this cc. I booked an appointment at this branch. Without even taking my consent the FA at branch ran the credit check. What sense is that? Like really need to learn procedures. I will always hate this bank ruined my credit score, i didnt even want a credit card. Just because it was pre approved, i thought lets take it. Absolutely 0 understanding and lack knowledge.

They lock the ATM area doors after the branch closes at 6pm. There's no other CIBC for at least 2-3kms. This isn't Jane and Finch. Keep the ATM's open 24hrs. People need to use the machines!

I visited this branch with a view to sign a document only which was already sent by my home branch. The FSR serving me acted like this was a bother for him and he was being inconvenienced as he was in a hurry to go for lunch. Upon completing the signing, i asked him to check for a locker and he reverted me to go to the tellers when i was already at his desk. Very poor service and you have definately lost my goodwill.

In my recent visit, the teller was quick to process my bill payments. However, I realized they made a mistake in the tax roll number in my bill when I got home. Therefore, I had to visit the branch again in the winter and asked them to fix the issue. Eventually it was fixed.Although I appreciate their sincerity to solve the issue and fast services, it would be great if the teller could be more careful .

Jonathan is the greatest financial advisor we have ever had. He goes above and beyond each and every time and is always reliable. I would not trust any other banker. He is new to the location and we used to have a different FA, but so thankful for Jonathan

Qin has been our financial advisor for over 1 year and we have nothing but great things to say about her.Qin is responsive, transparent, trustworthy and very detailed oriented. Her assistant Irene is also very helpful and responds quickly to our inquiries.Out of all the advisors we've used so far under CIBC Imperial, she is our favourite. Qin, if you read this I hope you continue to work at this location!

Best CIBC branch in Scarboroughthis is the best CIBC branch I've ever visited in scarborough area. staff are friendly and professional. when i was in the line, a consultant named Leah came up and asked me if i need any helps. after talking with her, she led me to an office and introduced a colleague to me. they both discussed with me regarding my financial needs and the result was satisfied. really appreciated their help. I will definitely come back to this branch again

Our family was re-assigned a new financial advisor - Qin and her assistant Irene.Qin's team is responsive, proactive and very pleasant to work with. Thanks to her help, we were able to get approved for a mortgage within a tight deadline.I would recommend working with Qin for your financial advising needs. She responds really fast through email and is in constant communication with us.

I was lining up in morning and it was super hot outside. The branch had set up the CIBC tent for customers and giving out water bottles.This was a very good customer service experience and i felt warmly welcome. Impressive.

If I could, I'd give this place a 0 star.I was with my elderly mother at this branch last week in the afternoon. There was a line-up of people during the hot weather and no chairs for elderly to sit on, so my mother waited in the car while I held the spot in line.The most frustrating thing was that there were only 2 representatives working, even though there was a huge line outside. I understand they were bilingual yet neither I, my mother or my brother who was with us could understand what the representatives were saying properly! My mother quickly finished and didn't bother asking about switching her account and left it for another day because she had already spent so long trying to speak with them and was tired. The representatives spoke very quickly and were very dismissive, a few others who were not of the same race were clearly frsutrated by this service as well. I don't want to sound rude, but I think the workers should have at least spoken more slowly since it was difficult to understand what they were saying with their thick accents.I would also like to point out that they suddenly closed right after we finished and there was an uproar about how the updated hours were not posted and the people who had been standing in line for a long time weren't notified by employees that they were closing soon.Overall just a really bad impression from CIBC and the lack of staff and care for customers is just too bad.
