If there was a choice for zero stars, this branch should get it. I went with my elderly father who uses a walker and has considerable difficulty coming out however some changes had to be made with his account. Rather then to accommodate my father and his request, they wanted us to come back after getting an appointment. I had to make them understand that the requests were straightforward and could be completed within minutes as we had already done it with another bank. She finally allowed and got us an attendant but we had to wait 15 minutes even though the customer that the attendant was serving came after us. Finally but thought okay this should be straightforward. He took Dad's cards as well as my cards only to come and tell us he is new and needs to check. 2 times and finally after 40 min whilst my father was getting restless and tired, tells us we will have to come back. No explanation except he does not know how to do it. This individual certainly needs more training. The manager was absolutely no help. In fact telling me she is in the middle of something and to seek someone else's help. What a great branch! CIBC head office - are you guys paying attention or are you tone deaf?

This is my local branch…be prepared to wait somewhat extended times for banking services…what makes this branch good are it’s fantastic staff…they are extremely knowledgeable, very professional and take the time which they deem necessary with each client…this is why waiting the extended time is ok with me…other than that this branch definitely needs a upgrade…I rated it only four stars due to its renovation needs…other than that please do not hesitate visiting this CIBC branch..

I agree they were very unprofessional and for some reason my teller behaved as if she was scared of me. I’m 6,2 and black speaking better English than she did I assured her that I understood why she was unable to assist me and said thank you. It was weird. Her level of fear stayed with me. An uncomfortable feeling

Michael Zhou, the Community General Manager, and his staff at this CIBC, are not protecting their customers. They let my elderly father make a $41, 400 fraudulent wire transfer. My parents have been lifetime clients of CIBC, and have been going to this branch for over 15 years. This scam occurred on November 18, 2022 and CIBC has not informed my father of any investigation results thus far. My families repeated contact with Michael Zhou has done nothing, as he states he is "middle management" and there is nothing he can do. CIBC and Michael Zhou should be doing more to protect, and keep their clients.

This branch use to be very efficient and effective very professional before when Samantha and her teams were there as soon as the have a new branch manager he turns the branch to chinatown where they speak their language at the work place. Those two new young boys don’t even know what they are doing. The Tim is even the worst on Tuesday September 6th he kept me standing for over 1 hr going up and down to look for help from his other colleagues as if they are the ones spending his salary for him. Its a pity that , that branch just lost its value like that. Bringing kids that don’t know what they are doing all in the name of only God’s know.

Nightmare experience. I'd recommend to everyone to NEVER visit this brand. The staff are rude and unprofessional. They purposely gave my mom a hard time and requested her to go back home to retrieve documents completely unrelated to the purpose of the visit. The staff also asked for a lot of sensitive information, which we provided. But they didn't help us accomplish anything in the end. Talking with the staff even triggered her anxiety symptoms. Extremely dissatisfied with the service.

Never never go to this CIBC branch, the representives must not be well trained. They are very unprofessional, impatient, and rude. Their attitude made me so uncomfortable. I spent more than 45 minutes talk to one of them but got refusal whereas I got the same banking business done within 10 minutes from another branch.

I came into this branch to conduct some simple banking transactions. The staff were extremely unprofessional and uncaring. There was no supervisor on duty. After almost an hour, I left in frustration with still my banking unfinished. The staff were unsympathetic. I would recommend to anyone to avoid this branch. I want the public to know about their poor service.

This is actually a very loud and busy branch so I can see that it can be exhausting for the tellers to be servicing customers one after another non-stop in a tight space. I notice most complainers here are unhappy because their LAST MINUTE needs are not met. Folks need to stop expecting miracles to happen and feel entitled for the whole world to cater to their poor time management. RRSP season is not new. Respect business hours. These people should correct their bad habits instead of whining like spoiled children when things don't work out for them.
