Suck service with this branch, I am so disappointed after 19 years with HSBC bank, I went to this branch trying to deposit $2000 cash, and they ask me where is the money coming from and after I told this is the money from my close friend who was borrow my money few months ago when she was new to Canada, then they ask me if I have any receipt to approve which I didn't have it, and then they refuse to deposit my cash and ask me go to my other bank to deposit the cash and then transfer the money back to my HSBC account, what a suck service they have, better stay off.

not bad even though i cannot withdrawn money from hsbc because mine is a visa card

I meant to withdraw cash from ATM with my debit card but I took the credit card instead. I had to go to the counter to make a payment into my credit card to offset the cash advance. The teller Ian Li listened attentively and helped me to make a transaction promptly, and he made sure the info he provided was correct . Thank you Ian! These five stars are for you!

My 90 years old father just want to renew the GIC. The staff said my father's ID is expired and need to bring a valid photo ID, since my father is no longer driving, they ask my father to bring the citizenship card in order to renew the GIC. Ok, then on the following week, I bought my father again to this branch with the valid photo ID. This time the staff said since the finance advisor is out, I need to bring my father again next time in order to renew. I was really upset since my father almost fall down outside of their parking lot and it really doesn't make sense for him to come back third time just to renew the GIC. After I argued with them, they finally find some other finance advisor to renew the GIC for my father. This is the worse customer service I ever experienced in Canada. I really think that they don't want any business with customer. Definitely not recommend HSBC.

All they do is sell you mutual funds. Yet they only have poor performing funds. Horrible service, says no to everything and redirects you to telephone banking for everything.

I've haven't been able to solve a banking issue for almost 2 weeks now. It may be partly my fault that I haven't logged onto my account for years, but my accounts should all be readily available when I do eventually log on, riiiight?! Which is where the problem and my frustration started. After trying phone banking, bank branch, online banking, back to bank branch, I couldn't get what I was looking for. I decided to try this branch and TA-DA! They solved my problem! WOW! Finally people who know what I need and how to get it done and done efficiently! Thank you to the teller who helped me. I forgot his name now, but he's only been there for 4 months. I'd also like to thank the manager, Sam. He's a very efficient problem solver. I'm actually quite surprised to see such a low rating for this branch, but this is the only branch I'll go to if I have HSBC banking to do. I really can't say the same for the other HSBC branch I visited....sigh.
