This is your classic Home Depot. You really need to know what you want and where it is in the store as finding an employee who understands tools and who speaks English to help you is so difficult. I am a contractor so I know all about tools and what tools and materials I need but I don't know where everything in the store is so it would be nice if I could find an employee in the section easily without having to go look all around the store

Made me wait for 15 minutes on the phone before sending me to an endless advertising loop. People, if you don't want to answer the phone, don't advertise your phone number. This is not how you get business in a pandemic.

I have to say that so far Home Depot has not let me down. First of all, what stands out is customer services - from beginning to end (salesperson - delivery men and telephone support services) no one dropped the ball. I was treated with respect, professionalism and follow-up. The only suggestion I would make is to ensure that the customer knows when they purchase (e.g., dishwasher) that the delivery men who bring the new dishwasher are not allowed to unplug the one you are waiting to get rid of. Having said that and while the delivery was a little outside the window I was quoted, I would add that I was informed (I made one call) that my delivery would be a little late and I prefer this than to someone rushing and pushing to 'get the job done at all costs' -- which is likely a 'cost to you'! From the salesman, 'Uncle' Jack to the delivery men and the telephone support people, no one dropped the ball and everyone was concerned with one issue--excellence in service. I have more deliveries and will also follow up once this is concluded. However, I think it is essential that we speak up when someone does their job well and from the customer's perspective, everyone is listening to the same message. Listen to the customer, help them and resolve whatever is brought to you. I got this. I can tell you from experience (about 30 years ago & last year) with a company whose name rhymes with 'Rick' and I would not recommend them to anyone, even if they offered you the product 'free'. It will backfire and you'll pay in more ways than one. The 'Rick' offered the worst service, lack of knowledge about products and what their process is, unbelievable delivery service which was non-existent and at the end it worked out to my benefit. I had to take more of my time to revisit the store, actually speak with a manager and not the ill informed personnel whose role ended up being a nuisance and hindrance versus that of an adult with a job description and knowing what that is and being comfortable in that role. I have told everyone I know never to deal with this company for more reasons than I can to write down here. When you find a company who actually shows you they care about what they do and make a difference in your day, then you need to reach out and thank them for rising well above the others. Good work and keep it up, Home Depot.

Picking up flooring with a friend. Large busy store. Lisa, our Customer Service representative was very attentive, tracked down the order, and got a pump truck for our skid of 22 cases of tile and a container of grout. Excellent customer experience!

We recently purchased a dishwasher from this location and according to the agreement that we had paid for we were supposed to get it delivered, installed and have the old unit disposed of. First off, I am very displeased with the entire process. As a large company i expect that when I purchase a product from you that I will only deal with one entity, instead I had to deal with Home Depot pushing us to the delivery man and the installer separately. Not only that, they can't even coordinate the times properly and the delivery and installation were on separate days. Now we're dealing with the fact that the deliver man didn't haul off the old unit so now we have to coordinate with the condo to have the elevator booked yet a different time. In addition, the installer is coming in late as well. Seriously why are they calling us? they should coordinate this with Home Depot and not us. The service quality for a company this large, is unacceptably bad.

We needed a fridge and snow blower. The competition had a better deal for the exact same product. we went to Home Depot, and they have a policy of matching the price and beating it by 10%. We then went back to the competition to see if they could do anything, but that turned into a mess because the gentlemen at the appliance section was not capable of logical reasoning. We came back to Home Depot, and they offered a little better deal, plus the ability to receive an extra 10% if the item promoted with a credit card offer in the next 30 days. This was fair, simple, logical, and met our needs as a customer. I usually expect bad service from this location, but I guess tides have changed; or I simply got lucky, and was helped by employees that actually understand the concept of delivering good customer service. I think, the latter is more likely. Either way, I'm happy with the purchase.

This store is not close to my home, but I go there regularly as this is a huge store. I can get what I want or get some idea for my home improvement. The staff are friendly and helpful. Their price are reasonable compare with other hardware stores. I like to visit their web site regularly as the information is clear and ease to find the products that I like to look at.

My rating is based on something quite specific: I needed some patio paver stones for a project. They had very few as it was late summer. I asked them and they said they stock on these only in the spring. However, the Richmond Hill store had a large selection. Perhaps Hoem Depots stocking policies differ between urban and suburban locations but it was an inconvenience to have to go to another store.

The store is huge, so you can find just about anything you need here. I've been visiting this location for the last 5 or 6 years for all of my home needs, and not once have I left without finding what I came for. Staff members are very courteous and helpful. I was stuck in a bind one time, and a staff member spent 45 minutes helping me find a solution, until the problem was solved. Prices here are cheap to moderate. I have absolutely complaints about this location.

The staff here were so helpful, polite. There was always someone around. We bought all our painting supplies here & plan to purchase the small things for laminate flooring here. However, we are likely not going to purchase the laminate at Home Depot as the prices were higher than private flooring companies. Most were around $1.50 sq/ft +. Course all the ones we liked were way over our budget... sigh The man (wish i remembered his name) really took the time to explain to us about flooring. What we need to do, etc. He even told us there's a mini workshop every weekend on Saturday at 11am for laminate flooring! useful! Lady in the Painting department also helped us find all the tools needed for painting. Course she was pushing us to buy the premium paints (BEHR). Which was ok. We do want it to last till we move out again in a few yrs. Price wise, some things were comparable with Walmart. Much more variety!
