I was there Dec 11th, the staff was not caring much. One girl was helping me to match my foundation, but in between she was working with other customers who was known people. Overall my experience on that day, they didn't care us depend on our age and appearance. Still I used to buy my products from that store only. Finally I bought a foundation and concealer. All customers are important.

As well as trying on different new lip shades
She attentively listened to my preferences and offered me a range of shades. Sanitized them before use.

The staff are knowledgeable and have always been able to help me find the products I'm looking for :). The past few times I've come in, Sarah has been able to help me find products quickly, she's very well spoken and always informs me about changes in formula and products and is able to help me find alternatives when needed. I find Sarah is usually quick in acknowledging and helping both me and other customers in the store! Thank you!

I came into their store 10 minutes to closing time. I felt bad that it was so close to their closing time, but Sam dropped what she was doing and was happy to help me.
Sam didnt rush me and we were able to find what I needed just in time.

I don’t know her name but she’s black. I asked her to shade match which she did well and i soon decided to get the stuff online from mac so i get an online offer. Good god the attitude of this lady- she wanted me gone (“oh okay, Bye”). What they say is true about Scarborough..

I had my make up done by Carla on Saturday and she was amazing. I’ve never seen someone who can work so quickly and precisely. Especially with make up! She was phenomenal. I would go back again but only if it is her who does my make up 😊

Very unprofessional and untrained. If you want the store to survive, please train your staff properly and educate them on customer service. Never coming back here.

I usually don’t do reviews and would just keep it moving BUT. I went to MAC to get my makeup done to have some Mother’s Day photos taken. I thought the job was decent enough. I got the makeup done a bit before 1pm, my photos were at 230pm. By the time I’m taking photos I noticed my under eye looking extremely dark. The concealer shade was dark to begin with and as time went on it got even darker making my eyes looks extremely tired and lifeless. I am actually quite disappointed because the whole point of getting a professional to do my make up was to have flawless makeup especially for this particular occasion. I could not enjoy the photoshoot knowing I looked tired due to the under eye makeup not matching correctly. This has completely turned me off makeup artists and I will never return to this place.

In an era when they’re are many good make up competitors, I expect good service when I decide to spend my money with any makeup brand. I came to this store on a Sunday afternoon (April 13) around 3 pm, when I could have been relaxing because I wanted to get a proper swatch (match) for the newly updated MAC foundation formula. I drove 20 km to come to this store too. So yes, I was expecting great service like I had gotten in the past. Much to my chagrin, when I asked a representative for help and told her I was trying to determine my shade match, she gave me six sponges and showed me to an area near the front of store where there were some shades of foundations and told me to help myself. I watched her stand idly ( waiting for who knows what) as I try to make sense of what was really happening. Like girlfriend was doing NOTHING! I was in shock at such mediocre service. Nonetheless, I did my best trying to figure out the shade I had before and which of the new would be the best fit. After looking at the various shades for a whopping 17 minutes, and being totally confused with when to get cool or warm, I was about to leave when another rep named Sarah came over and asked how she could help. I explained what I needed and she went over and beyond to help me. She made sure to explain the change in the old formula and the new m, and we tried different shades until we landed on the right one. I found out I had cool undertone too. Shout out to Sarah for being phenomenal and who used her 7 yrs of experience in make up artistry to help me. If it was Sarah alone, the review would be higher but that young lady who was standing around and not even tried to help me caused me to give it a 3. Of course, the reason I put up with the crap is cause I wanted to know my new shade and cause I thought I wanted to get MAC. After this encounter, I’m here thinking of trying another brand. This goes to show how one bad apple can spoil the bunch

Loved the experience there! Ask for Karla the manager she's exceptional at makeup and showing you how to use it
