BRANCH MANAGER IS A LIAR. Worst customer service ever. Branch manager makes false promises just to make u happy at the moment then never acts on any of the things he promises. Awful awful branch manager. He needs to get fired asap. He promises to remove a hold from a cheque. Once I stepped out of the branch, I realized the hole was not removed. Then I went back inside to speak to him and he sorry he was busy but he will make sure he does it before he goes home today. I kept telling him he’s going to forget he’s a no, no don’t worry. I will make sure it gets done. The hold will be released. Of course the branch is closed now and the hole was not removedI warned him it would cause me a lot of trouble, but he did not care. He refused to do it at the moment, because there was a long lineup, and they only had one teller, which is another issue on the whole, and instead of taking care of me, he lied to me.

I want to give this branch 0 star but Google map does not allow me to do so.My disappointment with this branch of Scotiabank and financial advisor Avinash Singh deepens, as I suspect a case of racial discrimination during our interactions. As a Chinese customer, I sensed a lack of professionalism and fair treatment. Furthermore, Singh's handling of my mortgage and GIC resulted in financial losses, casting doubt on his competence. This experience has raised concerns about the integrity of Scotiabank's services and left me contemplating my banking relationship with the institution. Now I moved all my money to CIBC???. Worst experience during my past 5-year with Scotiabank. I will not choose to talk with him and his manager again.

Useless. Don't like security listening to phone calls. Or think they own the bank. Should apply for Prez job, with security guard licence.

Worst place to ever bank be it for personal or business banking, dont even talk with Ashu or their abm abhilash, been over 3 weeks with no response to my situation. Their online banking shows appointment availability and then you show up at branch to be told that person is no more with scotia. Adverse experience at this branch with multiple disappointments. Run go to any bank or even a credit union(far better than this bank) their color suits them , they bleed their clients with all the hope to ever bank with them. You can schedule multiple call appointments , to never never get a call back. Shut down this branch or replace employees whom actually want to work in banking.

The reason I had to close my account because Scotiabank decreased my credit score so bad. After 1 month it decreased over 300 points because they dont let me increase the credit limit. The experience with Scotiabank was very terribleA guy Balwind Hamid was such a weirdo. He couldnt do his job even it just increasing the credit limit. It took him over an hour but couldnt finish and he told me to go home. He will send me the documents to sign next Monday. But then a few weeks later, no documents sent and my credit limit still not changed. I called them many times to solve this problem but hopeless. They promised to contact Balwin and after a month, there was nothing happened. After 4 times back and forth, I decided to close all the accounts I had at Scotiabank. Dont want to have any businesses with this terrible services. At the time I went to this branch to close my accounts, the bank teller was very unprofessional. After a few days of closing, the service company was still able to charge me the recurring fee. And when I looked at the account, they still left it open. They just closed debit cards and all other accounts, not credit card. I had to lock the card but at the time she closed my card, she hasn't cleared up my debt in the credit card. I dont know why those staff still exist.I felt like Scotiabank is the worst bank I used in my life so far. And this branch is the place that has all the worst staff in the world. Never come back ?

It's an extremely bad experience dealing at this branch I was told by financial advisor Aaron that my employment letter and my landing paper weren't enough to apply for a credit card! And Aaron said the branch manager didn't approve my documents like seriously? Documents authorized by govt. Isn't acceptable!! Isn't it frustrated? Scotia bank has this offer online for their newcomer customers in Canada but when you open a bank account it's different!! Very different and worse.. I wish I could give them lower than 1 star

Helpful employees BUT their ABM's are not maintenanced well, so I would suggest steering clear of using them. Their customer service was great. My deposits got eaten up in one of their ABMs and basically kept my cheques on hold. I went in and spoke to one to their bankers and they did a great job at resolving it. They did what they promised and called when it was solved.

The most horrible customer experience any bank has ever given me. Booked an appointment online with a business advisor for 12pm, waited 15 mins, front desk lady assisted me and went back to check. 12.45pm I asked for branch manager, I ask an associate where is the front desk lady, as both my advisor and front desk lady has vanished. He tells me the front desk lady has gone for her lunch (without informing me, finding me my advisor, or anyone else). My advisor has gone away for a meeting (again I had an appointment and no one informed me). Assistant branch manager assists me with an apology that wouldn't bring my 45 mins back as I left with asking for complain forms which she said she would email. She didn't have the courtesy to get someone to me right away, she didn't resolve my issues. This branch showed no profressionalism except the associate who asked me if I need help and got me someone.

This branch is the worst. Elena the teller was ignorant and couldn't give me my new debit card, claiming that my name wasn't on the list and credit company hadn't mailed it to them. I explained to her but, she felt very entitled yet knew nothing

Not sure why anyone at this location has a phone. Left 2 messages over a 2 week period and never received a return call. Probably in keeping with most banks though ??
