Dom is insanely disrespectful and miserable to every customer in line. I’ve seem bad sales associates but he is next level.
Without even saying a word he stared at me and pointed at the screen to input my number and just turned around doing absolutely nothing.
If he would’ve acknowledged me like a normal human being, he would’ve understood that I was just coming to pick up a product and had my barcode ready for him to scan.
He was only was so determined not to say a single word for me that he didn’t even ask for my ID for verification.
His rude mannerisms to not only myself, but the other customers in line need to be shown to corporate via security footage.

I recently placed a significant order online with Sephora, spending around $600 on various items. To my dismay, my parcel was stolen right outside my front door shortly after delivery. As you can imagine, this has left me feeling incredibly frustrated and disheartened, especially with the holiday season approaching.
When I reached out to customer support for assistance, I was met with disappointing responses. They informed me that there was nothing they could do to help me recover my lost items or refund my money. It’s particularly disheartening because I had never spent this much on my shopping at Sephora before, and after this experience, I certainly don't plan to again.
The customer service I encountered was far from satisfactory. It seemed like none of the representatives had the knowledge or authority to assist in resolving my situation. Every time I sought help, they simply transferred me to a manager, who also proved unable to provide any useful solutions. This raises the question: what is the purpose of having a manager if they can't help customers in need? Overall, this experience has left me feeling unvalued as a customer, and I’m truly disappointed with how my issue was handled.

On Dec 12 2024 at Scarborough towncentre, my sister was followed around in Sephora, asked multiple times if she wants to hold a basket for the items she is going to buy that she’s holding in her hands and to each of the salespeople who asked her to hold a basket she said no. One even radioed to ask if customers are allowed to hold things in their hands. Since when is carrying a basket a requirement to shop inside of Sephora? Then she continued shopping around the store deciding on whether she wanted what she picked up. She then put things down around the store as she decided to buy them or not, like everyone does while they shop in every store anywhere. My sister went to the cash to pay for the perfume she was going to buy. While standing at the cash, a manager asked my sister where the lip balm was that she decided she didnt want to buy today and where around the store she had put it. My sister said that she didnt have it but the manager said COME SHOW ME. Hold on, since when do customers need to show where we have put something down that we dont want to buy anymore? The manager was already holding three things that my sister specifically had put down. My sister got out of the cash line up with the perfume she was about to buy, and showed the manager where she had put down the lip balm. What if it wasnt where she had put it? Would the manager then have my sister searched next? How is this okay? This is unacceptable. Then when my sister expressed that this is very wrong, its racial profiling and started to cry inside Sephora at Scarborough towncentre, they asked my sister if she still would like to purchase the perfume! You follow her around, accuse her, make her show where the items around, then ask if she will still buy it just so you can make your sale? The manager refused to give her name when my sister said she will call and complain of being racially profiled today. This is truly disgusting. Do better @sephoracanada

Visited this location and Nicollet H was in the Nars section, she was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She took her time to assist me and to ensure I walked out of the store with the right products. Someone as friendly and knowledgeable as her should be working everyday. I felt like I was talking to a friend. She knew everything about the products she was selling. Definitely visiting that location again because of her! You are the best girl!!!!

We had a terrible experience today with the Security lady at Sephora at the Scarborough Town Centre. We were waiting at the checkout lane and there was an already opened blush packet which I tried. Suddenly the security lady came out of nowhere and started shouting at me and my friend asking to buy it. We told her we weren’t aware of the policy and we told her we don’t want to buy it. She repeated kept harassing us by saying you have to buy this or else you have to get out of the store. We were shocked and disappointed at the same time. We told her we have another product we want to checkout. But she didn’t allow us to buy it and she told us we are not allowed inside any Sephora store anymore. We are hearing that policy for the 1st time. She then asked us to put the item back and shouted at us and told us to get out of the store! We were really embarrassed that other customers started looking at us and we went out of the store heavy heartedly. But we went in 5 minutes back because we thought we were treated unfairly and rudely. We purchased the product we wanted to buy and complained to the cashier about this rude and harassing behaviour by the Security girl (Indian girl - just referencing it to find the right person). We asked the cashier to please convey our complaint to the management. This is the 1st time we are experiencing such a harassing behaviour from a Sephora store staff and we really want you to address this seriously because from the store reviews here, it is pretty clear that she is repeatedly doing this to many customers at this location.

I recently booked the beauty lesson at Sephora and had the pleasure of meeting sweet Tasmia. She taught me everything in a lot of detail and gave me a lot of tips. I was very nervous when I entered the store but she was very friendly and made this whole experience very comfortable for me. I never found any foundation/concealer which goes with my skin type… until I met Tasmia today. She went above and beyond, provided excellent service and I left feeling very confident. I am so glad that I got to do this. It was 100% worth it. Thank you Tasmia !

I was looking for refill size of keihl‘s lotion for my bf and all of a sudden one employee came up to me and she said “you should not use that, that‘s gonna make your skin oily and could cause more acnes on your face”...???? So rude so I just left the store.

Probably the WORST sephora store you can go to. If you want to receive horrible customer service, please go here. Sonnia, the manager, is very unprofessional. She refused to give my money back for an item i purchased within the last 30 days with MY credit card. She lied and said i used store credit when i didn’t. She is very rude and acts as if she owns the store. I have already complained to head office. I heard from one of her employees i am not the first complainant for Sonnia. Very disgusted by her attitude and behavior towards me. Do not recommend going here.

I wish i could give 0 stars but here customer service is worst and really sucks. I was in line to checkout even before i told one lady to express checkout she said its not available and then i was in line to checkout unintentionally i put thing in pocket but i was still in the line . Two girls one was indian they came in very rude way and attitude that give back the item to us and told me to leave the store and said i can’t come back. Thing is they can explain me politely that it is our policy against so don’t put in your pocket.

I recently visited Sephora and had the pleasure of being assisted by a young woman named Insiya. She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, helping me build a personalized skincare routine that suits my needs. She took the time to understand my skin type and concerns, explaining each product’s benefits and how to use them effectively.
Her recommendations have already made a noticeable difference, and I appreciate how approachable and friendly she was throughout the process. Excellent customer service like this is rare, and I’ll definitely be returning thanks to her guidance. Highly recommend seeking her out if you need skincare advice!

Numerous times I come in for an Online Pickup Order, and it takes forever for someone to assist me. Today, the girl at checkout did not even acknowledge me. Then when she did, she did not call someone to do the job, which makes no sense. Very unprofessional. I shouldn't be waiting 10 minutes long for a pickup order. It defeats the purpose and you might as well shop in store and stand in line. There used to be someone at the door greeting and asking you questions as you entered. I'd recommend implementing that again to enhance the communication within the employees.

I normally shop online and honestly I will probably stick to that. I came into the store to ask about a verb conditioner was available in store. It was already hard enough going in there with a child, but what was worse was there was one tall guy that wasn’t busy with customers, I said excuse me to ask for help, and I was just flat out ignored. I tried to say excuse me again, and once again ignored. I noticed other customers also who wanted help but were ignored. It felt like they all were pretending to be deaf and did not acknowledge anyone.
