I took my car to Subtamil Auto (40 Melford Dr, Scarborough) for an oil change, winter tire swap, and alignment. I arrived early around 8:30 a.m. and was among the first customers, yet I waited almost the whole day with poor communication. The mechanic working on my car left without notice, and when another person continued, the job was rushed.
After paying more than expected, I left — only to realize minutes later that my steering was loose, and the car almost caused an accident. It was clear they never tested the vehicle before giving it back. This is extremely careless and dangerous.
I thank God nothing bad happened, but this experience was totally unprofessional and unsafe. Anyone going there should be very cautious and double-check their car before leaving. Safety should come first, not money.

I have been a customer of this place for the last 7 years. This is the best place I have been to in order to get repairs for my cars. Karan is a reliable, honest and hardworking person who looks into each and every vehicle before it is done. His prices are reasonable.
