During our road trip visits to the Soo we normally stop here to fill the gas tank and browse the trade store for craft items. At the front of the store there are hand-made necklaces and earrings, of which my wife has bought a few.
There are also well-prices mittens, toques, and sweaters.
Most recently, we walked into the art gallery and mesmerized the lovely paintings and drawings from First Nations artists. We saw one which really captivated our eyes and had to get it.
The staff are so polite and friendly and will certainly answer any questions you have about the art or crafts.

Go to the little chip stand on the far right of the property and treat yourself to the fresh pickerel and chips. Delicious!

Good tourist stop and lots of nice things to look at but alot of stuff seemed overpriced. Had limited of selection of indigenous crafts.

The Trading Post is a fantastic place, almost like a museum with its collection of art and souvenirs. The staff are polite and helpful.
