Twice now I’ve come to this location to buy my dog food and both times my husband and I have been immediately profiled and followed around the store/stared at by the staff. I’m from Hamilton but we’re staying in the area and the lack of customer service makes me want to drive out of my way back to Ancaster to shop. Incredibly unwelcoming atmosphere. We have a good relationship with both the Ancaster and Dundas locations and this one is seriously lacking. How do you expect to develop relationships with your customers when you treat them like criminals every time they walk through the door? We’ve been loyal Pet Valu customers since we adopted our dog and you can see how many $100 bags of dog food we’ve purchased in that time. I would suggest taking your business elsewhere.

If you’re looking for a great place to have your babies nails trimmed please check out sierra at pet valu in Simcoe, she’s amazing! I was so worried about brining this guy in to trim his nails for the longest time but she made it quick and easy, she was also very tuned in to when he needed a break in between nails, best service to date, can’t wait to go back!

The customer service is truly exceptional. I purchase our dog's food, treats and many of his toys here, and also frequently use the pet wash. The pet wash is always so clean and easy to use; the store is well laid out; the staff are always incredibly helpful and friendly. Everything we purchase is high quality. Great store!
