You cannot call the branch directly, despite the fact that they have a number on their website. You get a call centre that wants to book an appointment when you have a simple question that would take less than a minute to answer.

Terrible customer service.Kathleen the manager promises a phone call back the same day, and no response two days later.She was not one bit helpful. I recommended another branch, or another bank in general

Wait in line for 20 minutes minimum every time of day. Staff are friendly, great people which is the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1.Had such a problem at this establishment that out of spite (and opportunity) I sold my house, paid my mortgage with them, and took my money to another bank and closed all of my accounts.Which I got calls about for 3 months after attempting to get "interest" I owed after I paid back every cent from my line of credit, etc.Eventually they "figured out their mistake" and left me alone. But the hassle was unreal if I wanted to fully explain it. The system itself is setup not to be in your favor.

If I could give it a negative star I would. I went to bank with a fifty dollar bill I needed change toonies loonies quarters no specific amount I I dint care. At the Simcoe branch wich I am a Royal Bank customer because I didnt have a bank card on me they refused to change my fifty. I am now at CIBC couple doors down where they were happy to help me. Royal Bank you were very ridiculous today. #poorcustomerservice

Always have to wait in line seems like for eternity. The staff is generally friendly and seems to have somewhat of an interest in you. I don’t know if they have a new manager but lately the staff have been terrible. Although they have a younger blonde guy who is very good. Customer service on the phone it’s depressing at best.

Its a really good bank and banking system but they need to support Instant transfers like PayPal and ect.

When people really care about helping you... you know it. I had tried dial-up HELP line 2x and even our account manager but could not find adequate help for commercial banking to do a simple international wire transfer. At the Simcoe branch, during the "stay-at-home" period (Apr 2021), the staff person assigned to screening / directing customers asked what I required. When they tried repeatedly to wire transfer with our commercial acct, they cared enough to call the staff help line. and figure out what the system glitch was. They soon learned that a code needed to be changed and changed it. Voila! All I can say is THANK YOU!
