I will start this by saying I usually hate dealing with financial institutions. My experience has always been dealing with inadequate and unknowledgeable staff, not to mention their sheer disregard and interest in anyone’s personal situation.That all changed when I was introduced to this branch manager, Bryan Ernst.I was struggling with having to seek out a reverse mortgage on my home and Bryan came to my rescue and managed to get me the loan money I needed with a payment plan in line with my income. He was friendly and more importantly respectful during the entire process.Most recently, I fell victim to a scam. My bank account was cleaned out and when everyone else failed me during this incredibly stressful time, Bryan, once again came to my rescue, listened to me, sympathized with me and worked tirelessly to get my money refunded even when the fraud dept denied my claim.He does not judge and always goes above and beyond.This is not my local branch, but I will only ever deal with Bryan Ernst going forward.

I went to the branch on King St in St. Catharines today after having difficulties trying to log in to my online account to pay bills. My first action was calling the number on the back of my bank card but after receiving a call back from a customer service representative I still couldn’t log in. I ultimately was helped by a very nice young man named Harrison. He was the only person on duty with a line behind me but he smiled kindly looking up as he served a woman at his terminal. The lady finished her business with his help and great fully bid him goodbye. My turn, he was so polite and efficient even working through the situation the phone rep could not solve. I asked him if people treated him well, as a retired nurse I understand how service individuals can take the brunt of people’s frustrations. He simply smiled at me with that professional expression I know so well. I thanked him again with respect and admiration. It isn’t always easy dealing with the public.Merry Christmas Harrison, I hope you get a Christmas bonus you deserve it.

The BMO is an alright bank to have an account with. I got my new account with them only about three weeks ago now and itt started off a little bit hectic.I had tried multiple times to use my card at the store, getting a drink, doing some grocery shopping and my card wouldn't allow me to purchase what I had been shopping for. I had to walk to the branch and use the ATM machine there and at the same find get a new card, it was annoying.The third time having to get a new card was just two days ago but now feel like this is the one lol.

I had issue with wrongfull charge by the website. Mr Bryan Branch Manager resolved my issue with website quickly, effective efficient immediately in an professional manner. Yes, I'll recommend this Branch BMO as an safe, good financial institution that helps own bank customers for any issue. Thanks Bryan.regards, Zo.

Would not recommend this bank if it was the last branch left in Canada. Staff extremely rude and arrogant. Branch Manager, Bryan and staff member Taylor very unprofessional.Negative star rating.Avoid at all costs.

The worst possible customer servies can be provided. I waited for them for more than an hour, and after that they made bad excuses, and that was my second bad experience with them. Any time I ask for help from them, they do not answer in the way they should. They do not understand the bank law at all. They are always busy. They do not answer. The stuff so mean so lazy To answer the questions of the customers, no matter how simple they are, and manger there he is unable to control his employees. Do not go to this branch, they will waste hours of your time without appreciation.

Truly awful bank. Avoid at all costs. Was told I'd get $300 for signing up as long as my bills were paid through them. They didn't tell me that paying a bill by etransfer disqualifies you. What a scam!! And now they close the bank as soon as it gets dark downtown so no access to withdrawals at night. Every now and then their machines just refuse to give me MY money and when I call I get answers like "that's weird" and "it should work". BMO is a scam from top to bottom. Go literally anywhere elseEdit: They want me to reach out to them and not vice versa because they don't actually care. Their reply is purely for appearances.

My partner and I were at the downtown bmo and my boyfriend was racially profiled while I was doing business with one of the tellers oct 28 2022 by an employee of the Yegor Solovyev. He is a racist and agressively approached my partner as soon as he walked in as if he was doing something wrong. He even went in his personal space talking loud and even spitting on him. The manager did absolutely nothing about this encounter and defended his racist employee. The managers name is Bryan Ernst. I've never been so humiliated in my life and to see that racism still exists in 2022. I have been with bmo for more than 13 years and this was just heartbreaking for me. Something needs to be done. Distasteful and horrible branch.

Worst customer service and employees who do not put on effort to do their jobs. Went to close my account because I do not use it and tired of monthly fees but while I was there I realized the real reason I did not want to bank with BMO, which is the worst bank to bank with. I could not close my account even after providing enough identification just because its not my home branch. Whats the use of the bank being in every city if you cannot assist clients. There are so many ways you could do your job on this than deniying me service

If I could give 0 stars I would I was racially profiled today at this branch. I need to deposit a cheque and the clerk already had negative energy ( reading the reviews i guess I am not wrong) but I approached with a smile and asked to deposit the cheque she took the check and asked for my name then ran back to her manger to confirm if it was okay to deposit the check making me feel as if I had stolen the money and when I asked if there was any thing wrong she shook her head profusely ( I am not stupid) so next time please make sure you tell the customer what Is going on before you go and check the validity of my check thank you.By the way very luck I did not make a scene you would have looked really stupid and embarrassed she knows who she is.
