It’s been years since I bought a car here but I will never forget what an awful experience it was. If I was smart I would’ve brought it to another mechanic to make sure the car was actually safe and road worthy.

As a company owner you come to depend on good service providers especially when it comes to mechanics. The people at Eastway are just that, dependable we needed some work done on our company truck and took us in right away and got the job done. Old-school no messing around tell you whats wrong and let you know what needs to be looked at. Good price up front and family run. We are using them for all our company vehicles from now on.

Emailed over for a Honda accord. Had Nahida help me with financing on it. Was able to pick up the car the next week. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a used car.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Test drove car with a dead clutch. Told Sam about dead clutch. He relisted car for more money saying it drives perfect. Will avoid ever going near them again.Dishonest stereotypical used carsalesman.

Went to Eastway today.Called the dealership to have Sam swing by and help out with vehicle selection.I had looked at a few cars and picked a Mazda 3.Negotiating the price was not an option, since he said that something along the lines of “I know you, you’re like the arabs, you’ll try to haggle me for the best deal”. Pretty sure because of my ethnicity.I was looking for a few hundred off (not being pushy, only if he was willing).Proceeding to the vehicle itself.The car started up alright the first time.However after I went in and restarted the motor, it would shake on idle and turn off.Sam claimed I flooded the car… I had not as you typically don’t use the gas pedal to start an automatic vehicle.Sam then said the problem was the low gas level and filled the tank with a jerry can.After Sam filled the car. We gave the car time to run and I hopped in and held the RPM @~2000 to get fuel through the lines.It just reverted to low idle and shaking until the car would turn off.Upon noticing that the car threw an engine code, I informed Sam about it nicely.Sam literally lost his mind at this point as it had become apparent that he was hiding something about the “safetied” vehicle. He immediately pivoted to condescending remarks. I took my father along with me only to witness the fit of rage Sam had to throw at us.He mentioned his 30 years of experience. That experience should at least teach you to be transparent and be mindful when speaking.Becoming an irate bully and raging is not the way you do business. I feel bad for all the people he harassed in his 30 years of service.I’m not going to slander his cars, there are good and bad cars everywhere. It’s his demeanour that requires some serious attention. I never leave reviews, but if you’re reading this Sam, remember…. No matter your age, ethnicity and gender, everyone deserves to spoken to with respect. Please do not harass your customers. Especially ones who show you respect and maintain a calm demeanour after being subject to your rage. Maybe in this 31st year of your professional career, you’ll finally learn how to speak with respect… Who knows if it’s still too soon for that though.
