I booked a car online but when i came there he said it was not available. But not in a way that was this straight forward. I had to ask multiple times and i had a very hard time understanding his english. He then showed me all the reservations that are cancelled for the day. I dont understand the point of having a system online where you can chose from multiple car tiers and then have 0 of all of them available.

This is just a tiny place with not a lot of cars, but really helpful staff and good pricing. They convinced me to rent a hybrid car, which I grudgingly accepted. Turns out the Toyota was super comfy and hardly used any gas at all. Thanks guys.

Booked a rental for 29 March for this specific outlet months ago and even received a reminder a few days before about my reservation. Turned up and the office was closed with only this note, waited for a while and had to make multiple calls to the number displayed and redirected to the emergency line only to be told the office was not open due to it being a public holiday. was told to go to Toronto airport or Ottawa for an alternative pick up location instead.Hope hertz can improve their booking system to include holidays and the sign at the office can be stated that it was closed for a holiday instead

I wish I could give them -1000 stars. Customer service is very terrible. I rented a car from them and when I arrive to pick it up, they told me my license wasn’t valid. So I ended up running all over Niagara by cab because my car is in the shop. To figure out what was going on with my license. Service Ontario said there’s nothing wrong with my license they don’t understand why the company is saying it’s not valid. They also showed Me, a website where you can go and check it yourself. Not to mention, I was then left out in the cold, after being denied to rent a vehicle, with a phone that was dead, ending up, having to walk all the way from Stanley Avenue to Walmart in the freezing cold. I then called enterprise I gave them all my information and I asked them to do the check of my license first before I even arrived and they said there’s nothing wrong with my license everything looks fine and they will have a vehicle within the hour for me.

We've been sitting in the parking lot for 20 minutes waiting for the service guy to show up. How do you run a business with no one in the shop? We called the guy, and the call went to voice mail. Unbelievable. There's an Enterprise up the road, so we're going there instead. Brutal service here. Actually worse than brutal, it's Zero.

Headache at Hertz: Pre-Booked Car MIA!My recent car rental with Hertz Niagara Falls was a total nightmare. 3 months before leaving Australia I made a booking and as requested also paid in full. My booking was confirmed. But guess what? When I showed up, they had no cars available and no care at all for the inconvenience.So, fellow travellers, beware! Don't bother, they can't be trusted as these guys think it's ok to let people extend their rentals even if cars are already booked out. Incompetent and zero customer service. Advised me it was not their problem!Thankfully, I walked down to Enterprise Rentals and had the most pleasant experience.
