“This place was recommended to me by two different people at two different times, so I’ve been wanting to try it for a while. I once called around 8 pm hoping to order a pizza and they were already sold out for the day. So this time, I went right when they opened at 3 and easily got a table.
I ordered a drink, salad, and a pizza with half mushroom and half pepperoni. Everything was good, but the mushroom pizza was definitely the surprise winner. I usually think of mushrooms as just another pizza topping, but this one added so much flavour. I sat right by the open kitchen and could smell the mushrooms cooking throughout my meal. So good!
I really loved the atmosphere too. It’s super casual. You order at the counter, grab your own drink, sit down, and just chill. The owner was so kind and welcoming, the music was great, and I could even see him singing while making pizzas. Somehow the whole experience made me feel like I was spending a lazy late afternoon at a little pizza shop somewhere in Europe.
Also, don’t be fooled by the storefront. There’s barely a sign and you could easily walk right past without realizing what’s inside. But clearly other people know the secret. Around 4 or 4:30, I already saw walk-ins being turned away because they had reservations coming in.
Now I understand why people kept recommending this place to me.Good pizza, friendly people, and such a fun and relaxing little spot\. I would definitely go back, and I’d recommend making a reservation!”
