The staff here are always kind, knowledgeable and extremely helpful! They're all passionate about the various creatures in store (and out), and when I had to surrender two goldfish a few months back, they were so accommodating! I've always had great experiences when I've shopped here and reccomend a visit to all my friends, if only to meet the BBP (Big Beautiful Parrot)! ♡

we have been coming here for a couple of months getting fish for our aquariums and their is one girl with ginger hair that has always been so helpful and amazing to us but unfortunately, she wasnt there when we came in today but we had saw they restocked their plants and had been looking for hornwort for sometime with no luck at other stores, we see tanks and tanks full of the stuff and i was finally relieved to see it. when asked, apparently its not for sell and im extremely disappointed. im not sure why they have so many tanks filled with the plant and have it not for sale but it was disappointing

Do not buy a parakeet from this store. They are not well socialized and are afraid of everything. There is one huge cage with so many in there and the store is like a crammed, dingy warehouse. The staff don't really engage with them. Better off buying from PetSmart. There are fewer in the cages and they are more socialized.

Had an amazing experience here today. Tina provided us with lots of information and was super friendly. This is the experience I want to have in every pet store. You can tell the workers genuinely care for the animals. 100% will be back.

I have been visiting Garden City Pets off and on for many years. On my most recent visits I was helped by both Esra, and then Jessey on a different day. Both Esra and Jessey are a credit to this establishment. They were were friendly, funny, encouraging and knowledgeable. The selection of aquatic pets is unrivaled. Every tank is an inspiration for the imagination. I appreciate the impeccable service and aquatic tips.

My dad was having difficulty with his fish tank filter and I went to Garden City Pets for assistance. Not only was Jessey friendly and welcoming, she was super knowledgeable and helpful with her sggestions. I am happy to say that because of her help, my dad's fish tank is back up and running well! Wasn’t sure if garden city pets was the right place to go regarding questions about axolotls, but Ezra was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
