Sorry Runners Edge, no fault of yours, but I wanted to get my wife a gift for the holidays and I used Google maps to find your business. Fourth Ave, as I'm sure you know, is so busy around 5, when I got off work, and the darn GPS had me going in circles. Either I'm a little waxed or you could use some better signage. I'm thinking the latter. As I write this review, my wife has told me that she has been to your business and yes, you are tucked into a little corner. Make it easier to find and you may get new customers. Also it was dark out and it was Christmas. Have a good new year .

Runner’s Edge is such a great local shop. The staff are incredibly helpful, the shoe selection is always top-notch, and you never feel rushed or pressured.
Their running clinics are especially impressive — welcoming, inclusive, and supportive for all levels. Whether you’re brand new to running or more experienced, the vibe is always positive and encouraging.
Just a really good place with really good people.

As a passionate runner who traveled a lot in the last couple of years and therefore had to get new running shoes at many different places/ stores around the world to replace the shoes I forced to walk towards the light at the end of the tunnel, I highly recommend getting at least some food for thought from the Runners Edge Team before purchasing shoes one’s feet structure might not be eligible for. They do in fact do a walking / running analysis.
My experience with Leslie and Benny at Runner's Edge was pleasing and satisfactory to my expectations.
They both are one of a kind, experienced and knowledgeable about everything they stand for and know exactly how to help one out.
Not that this would be an important detail to everybody BUT for me, knowing they were/ are both passionate runners themselves made anything shared through their own experience more sincere and authentic.
Benny asked me to run up and down his store aisle and knew immediately what kind of running shoes to recommend to me.
LONG STORY SHORT
Amazing and knowledgeable customer service, always mood-enriching conversations, they provide attention for details and take care of your individual needs.

It was suggested that I visit this store to do a gait test as I was in a lot of pain while walking.
Walker was very helpful and patient in answering all my questions. I ended up purchasing the shoes he recommended because they felt like walking on a cloud—no pain or discomfort at all.
During my second visit in September, Walker also helped me find running shoes for my son. My son commented on how patient and pleasant Walker was throughout the process.

Called in ahead of time to make sure they had sizes and they said yes. The store is nice, fresh and clean. They assessed me by having me walk and jog and showed me the shoe that was fit for me. Quick super-easy shopping experience! Definitely will be coming back for a shoe here again when I need and would recommend to friends and family.

The staff here were incredibly helpful with getting my ASD daughter fitted for track shoes and running shoes. I am not a runner and was completely lost at other stores. Staff here were knowledgeable and didn't push anything onto us. We will definitely be back.
