Staff is very slow, always long line ups. Some don't speak or understand English very well. Was 25min in the line up today, to get to a teller that tells me there's a 5 day hold on a line of credit check. Been their 25 plus years and that's the first time I've ever heard of that. If the rules changed customers should be notified. Not everyone dies online banking, so get old school lick a envelope and nail the new rules. I also called the bank when returning home at 1130am haven't heard from no one.

I don't even bank with Scotiabank, but am going out of my way to leave a positive review because of the incredible service I received from Diane. Courteous, helped me with my inquiry, and even though I wasn't able to get my situation resolved that day, she made a great effort and pointed me in the right direction. All you can ask for, 5 star experience!

Booked an appointment with the small businesses advisor, got two emails confirming the appointment. When I showed up, staff told me the advisor didn't come to work in the afternoon, appointment was due at 4pm. This doesn't make sense since the first time, I couldn't attend due to work, and received two calls from the branch...this time none, yet they asked me about my phone number which they can easily get from my file, making the hole scene super sus.

I went to go use the ATM in the early hours and the doors are locked for some weird reason. This is ridiculous. I work night shift and I can’t get to it any earlier. Just unacceptable.

Had a great experience yesterday at my appointment . Most people that need to see a Teller are ill prepared to see one and take to long, but under that note they need to read the day and supply more tellers

Most staff don't know what their doing, and their front desk assist is always empty with no presence without cause or notice with no explanation given.

Would be ZERO STARS if I could. Horrible horrible customer service. Line up of 14 people ahead of me not the first time this has happened. 7 counters only 4 at times 3 open. Terrible for what you pay in service fees.

I give this branch one star, the lowest star rating I could post.
I'm speaking about last week.
For the third day in a row of last week, I went to the bank to pay an overdue bill.
As usual, there were approximately 16 people waiting, and what is stupid is that there are only two employees present to process customer transactions.
Everyone works at the slowest imaginable speed.
I stood in line for 45 minutes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
I decided that I would not fall into the same trap for the third day in a row.
And when you ask them why, the answer is: Employees on sick leave. Really !! Are you guys getting sick with each other as a group here or what?
It's very funny and an excuse uglier than a sin and foolishness to customers.
This bank, with this situation and the way of dealing with his agents, if he was located in the weakest country in Europe, Asia, or the Emirates, it would have been closed. Because no one will knock on his doors with this bad quality.
For me, the only reason I stay here with this bank is that its location is close to my home. Other than that, there is no reason for me to keep my account in this miserable bank.
I seriously started thinking about changing the bank because going there is a waste of time.
The security guard is on the phone. Enjoying the time during work hours. instead of focusing on the safety of the bank and the customers.
You collect taxes from customers and take fees for every bank transaction, but you can not hire four or five employees for processing fast customer transactions. It's disgusting..
Go to Europe and Asia and learn how banks are managed.
Scotiabank needs 100 light years to get the quality of the weakest bank found in Europe or Asia or the Emirates.

I went today early in the morning to the atm and I have to enter with someone sleeping inside the atm I have no option as I need to make a payment and honestly this situation got me with a lot stress and tension I was so afraid to enter I am very surprised that cameras do not detect this besides that I didn't know if the person was just fake sleeping or dead the smell was terrible the other day I went to the branch and there was a broken frame some parts of glass in the floor so as woman I feel so insecure no security at all something could happened to me at that moment I being with scotia for many years but I getting very dissapointed with the services I book an appoinment the other day and the business advisor was extremelly rude no words to describe , I wish scotia take better care of their customers and even more with woman's deserves to feel safe.

I recently had an appointment with Mohammed for a line of credit. Instead of selling me the line of credit, he advised me about credit building, budgeting and building savings. He really took time and explained how an unnecessary credit check will further make my credit score worse + helped me understand my finances. It’s my first time getting a completely different positive experience from a bank.

I give this branch one star, the lowest star rating I could post. Just ridiculous there today. . I stood in line for 45 minutes to pay one bill due tomorrow and watched the circus there. Low talking rude women at the wicket, too much a chitty chatty Manager. The line was almost out the door and everyone works at the slowest speed imaginable. Some things people were asking , should have completed off the side by making a appointment with a bank specialist

I booked an appointment with Rana Prashant, which led to wasted time with the incompetence and lack of knowledge and interest to help with my banking needs. I do not recommend an appointment and saving your time in making any appointments and being belittled and talked over with every excuse why he can't do his job properly. Worst representative, I have ever had banking with scotia for over 15 years. The ignorance of this certain person.

Terrible customer service!!! Only one competent employee. I was greeted with rudeness and lack of care in my case. I’ve came to them with my problem multiple times in a row, and they still have yet to resolve it. It’s been over a month! This makes me want to transfer to another bank.
