Absolutely loved all the professional service we received, from looking at fireplaces to having our home inspected to be sure we had chosen the correct one to having it installed!!! Highly recommended Stella’s and their professional team!!!

We recently had our gas fireplace serviced and the technician (Bob) was an extremely knowledgeable and professional in his role. He quickly identified the issue and resolved the problem. Once completed, our fireplace was working properly and looked almost new….thanks you Bob!

I would leave 0 stars if possible. Stella's team drilled through the main plumbing stack of my house while installing the fireplace. Now the basement is ruined, the side of my house has a hole in it, the fireplace doesn't work and Stella's response is to hang up on me. Waiting over 10 days to hear from her insurance company. She said that I'm on my own and get another gas company to fix it. Do NOT buy from this company.

I rarely post reviews but this situation left my husband & I feeling embarrassed & frustrated. We stopped in the store today based on recommendations. From the minute we walked in the store we were noticeably followed by a woman staff (owner? Unsure). My 3 year old so happened to pick up a kids yeti rambler and carried it as we walked throughout the store. When my husband & I noticed what he had in his hands we then put it on a shelf & carried on our way. When we were making our way to exit the store, I was then stopped by said employee asking if I put the yeti somewhere in a demeaning tone as if implying we were stealing it. (Note- I was not carrying a purse (only a small Lulu cross body bag enough to fit my phone & keys) nor did any person in my family have the pocket capacity to carry said yeti in lol). I told her exactly where it was and she b-lined to go find it. Being treated like a thief for absolutely no reason will make me not recommend this store based on absolutely poor customer service.

Stella’s Regional Fireplace Specialists installed a Napoleon Gas Fireplace in my townhouse in March 2022. They needed to build a full gas fireplace into a townhouse that had no previous fireplace.The install team were good- they built the fireplace surround and they put the exhaust through the roof. They installed a Napoleon fireplace. After install, I had a lot of “odour’ issues that could not be identified. I had headaches and my pets were vomiting. The fireplace “banged” 30 minutes after start up and again after cooling.After a number of service calls, I called Napoleon directly and they sent a service tech. After a variety of tests, they approved a new glass front for the fireplace as the seal wasn’t tight enough. Once replaced, the odour was gone, as were my headaches. The fireplace continued to “bang” as it warmed up (after 20 minutes)and cooled down ( 20 minutes later ).After 4 service calls, and a variety of adaptations, the fireplace continues to bang, but less so. Napoleon said Stella’s had a work order to come back, but I have not had another call back.The last service call, I was told they would have to nail the back of the fireplace to the backing - not a recommended solution.I am left with a gas fireplace that “bangs” on start up and on cooling down.I do not recommend a Napoleon gas fireplace installed by Stella’s if you want a seamless install and operation.On the last visit by Stella’s, I was told that I was due for a service call, paid by me, to clean the glass - they might then address further issues.Napoleon told me there was a work order for Stella’s to contact me to deal with the initial install issues. I am still waiting. I still have banging issues and now my glass is dirty.

On February 8th we had one of Stella"s installers fix our Insta-Flame fireplace DV34RN which had stopped working because of a faulty mercury flame sensor. The sensor had broken two years before and we shopped around for alternative options from replacing the gas fireplace with another, go to an electric or remove the fireplace entirely. The least expensive option was repair it which meant replacing the control valve, thermocoupler etc. at cost of almost $1800 tax included. The installer (didn't get his name) was very professional, courteous and went straight to work. He reassured us that he had done a 100 of these types of retrofits and he proved that he knew what he was doing. There was no mess and he cleaned our fireplace thoroughly. I also told him i was concerned about how loud the blower is and he reassured me that it was no louder than most of the fireplace blowers. Also suggested that the fireplace can be operated without using the blower for small rooms like our family room. My wife and I are very pleased with the results and especially pleased with the work and professionalism of the installer. Thanks Stella

I must say the men, Jim and Mark that came to install our Fireplace yesterday were Steller!! Polite!! Knowledgeable!! Friendly!!, We couldn't be Happier with their work...And they cleaned up after themselves!!!!...I would recommend Stella Regional Fireplace Specialists to anyone looking for a beautiful fireplace!...Everyone we dealt with there were Awesome!! Great Job all

The pilot light on our gas fireplace would not light this year so I called Stella's Regional Fireplace "Specialists" and told them the situation. The person I spoke with said it would be $150 to clean the fireplace. If parts were needed, we would be charged for the parts plus labour. A serviceman came out a few weeks later and without trying the pilot light ignition started "cleaning" the fireplace. We were not told up front either by the person we spoke with at Stella's or the serviceman that there would be an extra charge for cleaning the pilot light assembly. After a lot of grunting and groaning, he was able to remove some of the corroded pilot light assembly parts, cleaned them and got the fireplace going.After this we got a bill of almost $300. He then said we needed a new pilot light assembly. He also tried to sell us a remote control which we found out afterwards that we didn't need. After he left, my wife could smell gas. So I turned the gas line off and called Stella's. They didn't seem to be concerned and said the smell we were getting was from the cleaning solution the serviceman used. I turned off the gas overnight and tried again in the morning.The fireplace lit okay but my wife smelled gas again. I called Stella's yet again and they were reluctant to send out a serviceman to check the cause of the gas smell. In fact, they said I should call the gas company. I insisted they send out a technician to check. Finally, a second person came out. This time with a natural gas detector. He checked all the gas lines and connections. It wasn't until he lit the pilot light that the detector flashed and let out a beeping noise. He said the gas leak was from the pilot light assembly. He said the first serviceman should have never tried to clean a corroded pilot light assembly but would tell the customer it should be replaced. I called Stella's and spoke with the owner who not once admitted it was the first serviceman who caused the gas leak. She said a new pilot light assembly would cost $750 and the only credit she would give me was $80 off the almost $300 bill for the so called "cleaning". After I tried to get a more reasonable credit, she said maybe we should use another company and they would send someone out to "red flag' the fireplace. She then rudely hung up on me. So now we're stuck with an almost $300 bill with a fireplace we can no longer use. Do not deal with this company or the rude owner, Stella.
