Thistle Bookshop and Cafe is a locally owned, family operated business. It offers a unique, warm, cozy, and quaint inviting nook with a very aesthetic and cozy atmosphere. The space is perfect to shop, get a coffee, and hangout surrounded by books. There is a great selection of books, from new releases down to the classics, with a great Christmas reading selection and Scottish heritage shelves. It is the most fun place to Christmas shop with many unique gifts, trinkets, puzzles, bookish stickers and pins, swag, and all sorts of little surprises. The cafe serves excellent seasonal drinks and baked goods, like amazing hot chocolate, traditional coffee, a banana bread latte, Winter Fog, and Scottish Mist teas. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, super friendly, chatty, really sweet, and amazing with people. It is a wonderful experience, a great find, and a must for anyone who loves all things books and cafes.

I love it here. Very cozy atmosphere, great selection of books and gifts, and the seasonal drinks and baked goods are excellent. Staff is always welcoming and friendly, too!

First time getting the chance to stop by the store and the experience was amazing! It's locally owned and family operated business that has created a unique, warm and cosy space to shop for books, get a coffee and hangout. Traditional coffee tasted great and a great variety of books. Great place to hangout!
