I’m so impressed with this location. The customer service is outstanding. I was there yesterday the Friday of thanksgiving weekend. I was looking for a product I asked the young man to point where it would be. He walked me to the product. One item was sold out he went in the back brought out my item. Thank you I wish I had gotten his name.

Just wanted to know why Thanksgiving decor is at a minimum compared with other holidays like Halloween, and Christmas, and even the middle eastern holiday of Diwali???? I understand that Canada is a diverse nation,as is the Niagara Region, but it's a pretty sad state of affairs, when Diwali takes precidence over a North American Holiday. Come on Walmart, wake up and recognize Thanksgiving.

Employee did not let me use the bathroom when it's 2 hours before their close time. Several stalls were already cleaned. I asked politely and she rudely said no . I do not understand why customers cannot use the bathroom when they ask and most of it was already cleaned and during working hours .

My wife and I were blown away by Pauline! She talked to us for over 15 mins and gave us amazing ideas of what to do with our curtains. She’s an amazing person and even better sales associate! Thanks Pauline

I was verbally abused by an associate. After waiting 15 minutes to find an employee in the cosmetic department in order to purchase a product. This employee spoke down to me and said she didn’t have the key to unlock the products I wanted to purchase. When i asked her is she could find someone as I had been waiting for so long, she stated that the cosmetic employee had left and nobody in the entire store had the key, and I needed to leave the store immediately. The product I was attempting to purchase was 12.41$, this all seemed so unnecessary. She followed me in order to ensure I left the store without asking another employee. I felt like extremely violated.

I've got to let off some steam about the absolute circus that's passing for a job interview process at your Walmart store. Yeah, you know who this is – the person who's been there not once, but twice, for an interview and is still getting radio silence from you guys. What gives? I've got to wonder if your manager knows what she's doing, or if she's just spinning a wheel to pick new hires. I mean, seriously, I've seen folks with zero experience get the nod while people like me, who've actually got skills to bring to the table, are left hanging. Is "zero experience" the new resume gold for Walmart? I'm all for giving everyone a shot, but this is getting ridiculous. It's like you're purposely trying to mess with people's heads. Is the secret requirement for getting hired at Walmart to have the patience of a saint? Because let me tell you, mine's wearing thin. I get it, things can get busy, decisions can take time – but come on, a little communication isn't that hard, is it? Ignoring applicants after they've invested time, energy, and yes, hope, into your process is just plain rude. Maybe you don't care about the impression you're making on job seekers, or maybe you're just too busy to give a damn. Either way, consider this a reality check from someone who's had enough of your hiring charades. Don't bother responding – I've probably had my fill of Walmart "hospitality" already.

Probably the rudest interaction I've had with staff. Asked a staff member the location of the sandals, in which they replied, "If you open your eyes for a second a look behind you, you might see them."Mind you, "behind" me was a giant divider obstructing the full vision of where the shoes would be, so I couldn't even see it once I did in fact "turn around and open my eyes". The employee immediately turned around pulled out his phone and ignored me following the interaction.

Well stocked and classier than the glendale location which is always ransacked and out of stock. Staff is better here too.

Date: July 11th, 2023Assistant Manager- Doug (Worst ever manager interaction and customer experience at supposedly best customer service store)If there was an option of 0 or negative star, I would have chosen that. This is my go to walmart, because this has most Indian stuff in my area. On July 11th, 2023 I went to this walmart twice. When I went in the morning they had misprinted tag on Google Buds Pro (it was supposed to be $259.99 but $2 was misprinted so only 59.99 was visible) this is a mistake from Walmart’s end because for a customer it just looked like 59.99 and I had my hopes up and planned to buy but late assistant manger (Doug) came and said that walmart doesn’t have this policy at all that if you find wrong tag you’ll get a compensation on the product. Said it was an honest mistake and can’t be compensated for that. For this time I agreed and went. Later at night when I came back to buy something else, I saw that not a complete tag was present under same product (Google Buds Pro) and it was priced at $65.98. I called the electronic associate to check and she said that not it’s $65.98 by looking at the tag and I planned to buy it again, but later when she took the product out (because all electronic products are in locker to which only electronic associate has the key to), she said that it’s 259.99. Twice in a day I found the same product wrongly marked. To this concern we again called Doug (assistant manager) and he refused to even listen to us. As soon as he came, both the electronic associate blamed us that somehow we changed the tag even though it was in a locker, said that put a complaint wherever I want and didn’t even listen our statement and walked away.Walmart is supposed to be an example of good customer service, but with this experience I’ll give walmart’s example of bad customer service, bad management and unethical behaviour. They kind of blamed us for fraud buy mentioning that we had to do something with wrong tags rather than accepting their mistake. If anyone from Walmart higher management is reading this, I want to escalate this issue.

This used to be our go-to Walmart but the management must have changed a LOT. Yesterday when we were there the store was incredibly dirty. There were gross rags left out to soak up who-knows-what on the floor (it was yellow and had chunks, I’m just saying). Nearly stepped in it because no signs were left out. Elderly and disabled people couldn’t get a scooter because non-disabled employees were using them to ride around the store. One obese girl was using it to stock shelves. She is not disabled. We had no choice but to use self-checkout because employees who were supposed to be at the tills were standing at the end of the aisles having a chat the entire time we were at the store (almost 2 hours). Between their laziness and the racist white customers yelling at them to “have their jihad meeting in their own time” (they had brown skin and were speaking another language) it was very stressful to try and make a purchase. Back of the store reeked of weed; source was a woman actively smoking. Shelves were disorganized and dirty. It was seriously worse than an episode of family guy. You don’t have to SMELL family guy. You’re not even saving money anymore, since their prices are higher than any other store in the region especially for groceries and staples. There are so many hard working people in St Catharines who are unable to find any kind of employment that the failure of management to remove these staff in a non-union environment offends me so much. What are these managers even doing?

I was at this location June 30 2023 using the self checkouts around 9:55pm. There were two employees monitoring the self checkouts, and one of them (shorter female with long hair) came up and tried to sell us on the credit card promotion. After I politely declined, she proceeded to make conversation about my baby asking how old he is. I told her 5 weeks old. She then looked at my stomach and asked if I’m pregnant again? I was absolutely shocked and taken back by this and told her no I just gave birth. She proceeded to say “oh it must be bloat then, it will probably go down” and carried on about how I looked bloated? I’ve worked in customer service 10+ years and never once thought to comment on someone’s body. I am honestly appalled and disgusted by this employees comments. Commenting on people’s bodies is absolutely inappropriate and could be extremely harmful to someone who may be suffering with eating disorders or various other body disorders. I hope employees here are taught basic customer service and interpersonal skills moving forward.

This is a very disrespectful walmart. At self check out with my husband and the scanner keeps throwing a code for a rep to scan in. I have called over for help 3 times while a group of 5 employees huddle and continue to ignore me.I finally decide to finish scanning at a different kiosk and left my 6 foot tall black husband to handle the issue. When a manager and employee goes to check through all of the bags he has. When I asked what is the issue they are giving excuses. So I asked do you need to check mine they said no its fine.Honestly this is ridiculous and I will not be coming back to this store. Either find better quality employees or fix your equipment.I am so annoyed and tired of how big box companies racially profile

I had an incredible experience at the Vision Center. Carolynn helped me resolve a vision issue with a very creative solution. She was exceptional and was as excited as I was over my vision improving substantially. Excellent service and a fantastic team member.
