Amazing little pottery shop. Great place to find beautiful, eclectic pieces. My partner and I bought a wine chiller. Highly recommend this hidden gem and we will be back.

I’d buy everything in here if I could. Lots of beautiful pieces to choose from and the shop itself is very unique and cozy. I have a few items from here and make a point to pop in when I’m in town once a year.

I received a beautiful mug as a Christmas gift this last winter from this shop, and the pattern and detail is absolutely beautiful. Today my partner boiled some water for tea and as he poured the water in the mug it cracked all the way down the length of the mug and around the handle. I thought pottery like this should be able to withstand the temperature of boiling water but sadly it did not. Gorgeous piece, I just wish it could’ve lasted forever!

A very unique place with lots of potential pottery to choose from. I got my first honey ? pot and it is most useful thing for putting a little bit of honey in my tea ?

Good prices. A good variety of items. I was a little confused, it’s around the corner from the coffee shop (same building)

I have fallen in love with this little gem of a place! Beautiful work. Kind staff-artists, and if you're lucky you can see them working on their craft! I was gifted (from my sister) mini expresso and cappuccino cups. Unique rustic designs. One a kind items, from shaving cream holders to sauce holders and many things in between. It's worth a look-see when you visit St. Jacob's main street. ????

Too many items to choose from, they all look good. It's pretty cool that they're all handmade within the shop. I got a travel mug for my mom's birthday and she's been excited.

Great little pottery shop. You can custom order items. We got a pair of lamps a few years ago from them. Everything is durable.

This place was recommended by someone else on yelp. And in spite of covid I went for it. I biked the miles to get to St. Jacob's and found this place rather charming. Located in the silos in the town of St. Jacob's, around the corner from the EcoCafe, Conestoga River Pottery has a lot to offer anyone walking through the door. Every shelf is filled with unique peices and collections for purchase. Its inspirational and quite lovely to bear witness to such beauty and creativity. I walked in and took my time in looking around. Found this gorgeous travel mug, a heart ornament and a small magnet made from another local artist of the landscape from BC. Where I had just visited months earlier. The young lady working was friendly. I called before going to ensure they would be open. She was talkative and upbeat. Definitely chipper compared to the other person there. Not too sure if the older gentleman was the potter/artist. He didnt seem very friendly, unfortunately. Perhaps my expectations are too high these days for people to offer a little bit more warmth. Especially with respect to this current, temporary pandemic. I understand everyone has their own ways of coping and we are all individually processing the changing times in whatever ways we can manage. When business owners are not personable, it makes me not want to be supportive. That's how I think as a patron and that's my bottom line. The mug I got is pretty awesome. It has a corked top. I encouraged some friends to visit, hopefully they'll follow through on that. And they'll have some good interactions with the shop owner.
