Dropped in to pick up some sale items from the flyer and was cheerfully greeted by a cashier named Ava who was even kind enough to bag my purchases for me while I dealt with payment. It's young people like her that show initiative and work ethic that are our future leaders.

I’m so grateful to have Foodland as my neighbourhood grocery store. The staff are incredibly friendly and always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Whether it’s a warm smile at the checkout or someone offering help in the aisles, their kindness really stands out and makes a big difference.
The store itself is always clean, well-organized, and stocked with a great variety of fresh produce, local goods, and everyday essentials. It’s clear they take pride in supporting local farmers and businesses, which makes shopping there feel even more meaningful.
Thank you to the amazing team at Foodland for being such a positive and important part of our community!

Though the pricing may be slightly better elsewhere especially for local produce...and the selection of goods much smaller (it is a small store after all)...the staff are incredibly friendly and I find the store very clean and cozy which keeps me coming back.

Stop closing 5 minutes before 9pm. I get you want to go home but closing early is just laziness.

Great little grocery store, Foodland, hidden away at west end of St Thomas. Unfortunately, part of Sobey's and prices are a bit higher than Food Basics.
