Metro is a large grocery store, convenient for the neighborhood. The store is always nice and clean, with a bright interior. It offers a very large fresh produce section and a meat department with great choices of different kinds of cut and meals ready to go. It has a flower section with bouquets and potted plants, plus helium foil balloons. The bakery has yummy baked goods and a large selection of specialty cakes. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There are newer self checkouts. It is located at the Elgin Centre, where you can do more shopping or visit the food court. Some aisles have been moved around and a new entrance has been added.
Serenity in the florist department did an incredible job with a birthday bouquet for a friend. Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you!

Wow. Danika in seafood got me the best lobster iv ever had. She got me the biggest one. She deserves a raise , not to mention she’s great at being social and had the best jokes.

Went there today to get a cake for my son's birthday. As always the staff in the bakery were extremely helpful. Everytime I have bought a cake from this location they staff are very friendly. We have stopped going to our local baker as this metro always has what we need.
