Checked out 3 body repair businesses in the same section. All were extremely busy. Scuffs were the most detailed but most expensive. Nikki claims it's because they are the most reliable and efficient. I haven't made a decision yet. By the way
Fast forward 2 months. A new scratch. Booked in for next week. The owner, Nikki & Akim, my contact, are very congenial and thorough & accomodating.
Unlike Advent Body shop, recommended by Belair insurance. SCUFFS has assured a completion date.
NB Scuffs estimate on my previous job turned out to be $1000.00 cheaper than Advent, who kept my vehicle for 3 weeks, never returned my calls, and have never explained themselves. My thoughts. They overbook.

I brought my vehicle in and now everything is pealing off, I ABSOLUTELY regret taking my vehicle there. Friendly at first when they want your business by the end I was an afterthought .

Do not take your vehicle here.
1) Obtained a quote in person, everyone was nice and friendly. Was told an area of rust on my door jam needed to be cut out and re-finished. Was provided a dollar amount on a business card with a date. This should have been the first red flag. No formal quote, no email back-up, no documentation or breakdown of labour and materials. I assumed it was not a big repair and just a local shop so I trusted this wouldn't be a big deal. I got a quote in January, they couldn't do the work until April which was fine as I was in no rush.
2) Brought the vehicle back in April for the work. No issues to start. Was told the work would take the 4 days booked (Tues to Friday). Got a call Friday car was not ready and staff were sick and they wanted their worker to come in on a weekend to do the work. Based on this it became evident they didn't do any work on my car for 4 days and left me without a vehicle for no reason. No problem on my end I was sympathetic to this happening, so they kept my car over the weekend, so I was without a couple more days with minimal notice. It was "ready" on Monday. I was told when I picked it up they didn't need to cut out the metal so they refinished it and charged me a couple hundred less ( still over $1,000). I wasnt asked or told any of this until I went to pick it up or given an option. I assumed they were being honest and thought they determined it was not as bad as they thought and didn't need the full scope of work. I asked if they found anything else wrong since there was no communication they said no just a minor spot of rust you couldn't see anyway and not to worry about it.
3) 5 months later, the rust is returning in the exact area they "fixed" ( bubbling paint etc).
4) I contacted the owner via email to outline my concern and thought their worker may have rushed the work over the weekend to get it all done as they were behind. Was told they don't warranty their rust work, and then received a quote for close to double the original quote to look into it more and they would deduct what I already paid. This didn't make sense as they are essentially double charging for their work and making it seem like a favour with a credit. I declined and let them know it was more than double the original quote, and asked why it was so expensive all of a sudden. Was then told they didn't know what they quoted originally (of course, there was no formal quote to begin with except something written on a business card). Once I told them what they quoted they never responded, never assisted further or offer to help and ignored me, which has prompted this review.
I'm pretty disappointed and frustrated after spending over $1,000 for nothing and could have taken it to someone who knows what they are doing. The whole process feels like a scam from no formal quote to not doing the original work agreed upon. The only positive I can say is they didn't charge me the full quote amount when they claimed to do less work, but having to spend that kind of money on something to have the same issue return in a very short amount of time was a waste of my time and money. At no point was there a discussion about not being able to fix it, that they couldn't guarantee the work, or that I might have future issues or anything. This was a money grab and a complete lack of accountability.
I was trying to support a local business and was courteous and nice to both their timelines and delays, but nevertheless was taken advantage of. I do not recommend this company and advise others to stay away or ensure you protect yourself.

I will 100% be coming back in the future! I came in to get my lift gate repainted and Nikki provided me with a reasonable quote and comforting atmosphere! Akeem kept me informed with updates on my car and when the service would be done! The paint job came out looking amazing! When I picked my car up it was nice and clean and I couldn’t be happier! Shoutout Akeem and Nikki! Thanks guys!

Just drove an hour to this place. They did not tell me they were closed. What a waste of two hours of my life. Zero stars. Maybe update google maps or tell your customers when you decide to take a week off with zero notice.

I was just at Scuffs after visiting other autobody shops for some estimates and was blown away by their service, friendliness, honesty and professionalism!
I was told by other shops that it would be a considerable costly job which left me feeling deflated.
Scuffs worked their magic and I left their with total ease and assurance that it wasn't as large a job as previously indicated!
My go to from now on for any vehicle Scuffs, scratches, dents , protection etc and I'll be recommending them to everyone.

Service was great! Friendly, helpful and efficient. Took my car in for a variety of paint chips, dings etc. Nikki and her team took great care of me and, if you enjoy dogs, Maggie is an added bonus.

Scuffs are amazing! I got a scratch on my red Mazda (hardest paint to correct) from Parc Omega, and they were able to completely fix it and remove all the scratches with a wet sand and buff. The final price was also under the initial estimate which was a huge bonus. I would highly recommend this place. Nikki was very responsive and super helpful.

I had such a great experience. As soon as I came in to get an estimate to fix a scuff from a rear end hit, they came out right away and buffed it out within minutes. Highly recommend this business!
