“This morning I left Scarborough to go to Hamilton for work. Got to my first stop, did what I had to do and moved on. As I was driving, my 2023 Ford Ranger informed me suddenly that my passenger side front tire was at 26psi instead of the normal 38. I thought a slow leak, but 6km's later it was at 15psi. Put some air in it at a gas station and moved on. Did my next call, got back in the truck and once again 26psi. Took it to the Canadian Tire on Rymal road east of Upper Ottawa St. They were booked solid, but recommended Brian tire 1/2 km east.
Went there and they took me right away. There was a screw in the tire causing the leak, so out that came and in went a plug. I kid you not, it was a whole 10 minutes!! Wow, saved my day for sure!
The bill was only $45.20 with tax and I had no problem with that at all. Better that than a destroyed tire.
