“I come here quite a bit because my friend works at Giant Tiger. Not much here aside from food and professional services. There's a tax place, dance studio, a handful of doctors, dentists & 'medical cosmetic' places mainly up in the office tower.TD Bank, Bulk Barn & Giant Tiger along with a sewing shop & safety/work wear retailer are about it for stores.Couple of Shawarma places, Pizza Pizza, Indian restaurant and I think a Thai food place, so you can probably find something to munch on.I'm not sure what makes it a 'plaza', I'd call it a bunch of unrelated stores situated around the same parking lot.No place to sit and eat outside and no public washroom aside from inside the different restaurants. But that's kinda the usual I guess.”

“I think this is the best Food Basics store I have been to. I generally will not buy fresh produce from the discount stores, but this place has got decent produce for sure. I also like that they have rotisserie chickens. They are on the smaller size but that's perfect for me”

This shopping mall went from a dying husk to something truely remarkable.
The new owners did an amazing job changing the layout and updating the mall.
Terrific store choices for everyone of all backgrounds, shapes and sizes. There are plenty of options for kids including the electric mall rideable animal things.
Walking through this mall goes with the flow, you never get lost and if you do, there is plenty of illuminated maps to help you find your way.
Highly highly recommend going here or spending your entire afternoon here if you are a teenager, this mall fits the vibe!”
“Small mall that serves the local community. It has a Winners, Homesense. Dollar store, Fortino's Super store and many small shops. Note, many of the smaller stores have closed permanently due to Covid-19 and as of April 29,2021 remains mostly closed. Should reopen May 19.
Update; Mall is open, and many new stores have opened. Eastgate is thriving!”
“The dollarama and giant tiger are side by side at centre on Barton so I am there at least once a week buying something. Giant Tiger is great for clothes. The dollarama is great for seasonal stuff and small toys for my grandson. The staff in both stores are always willing to help.”
