Sobeys Stratford is considered the best and most luxurious grocery store in town, with top quality food and the best maintained environment. It offers wonderful healthy choices, especially for vegan and gluten free diets, with great produce and an exceptional bakery section. The butcher and fishmonger are noted as the best in town. The store has a great range of fruits and products, alongside fast service with self checkouts. The staff are described as very friendly, helpful, personable, attentive, and good natured. Some find the food prices high and note that plants and flowers can be overpriced, but many feel you get what you pay for. It is a clean and safe store, preferred over other local competitors.
Ordered a cake with photo and was not sure what we would get. The bakery person was amazing when I went in to order it as I was not sure on colors and layout. I just knew I wanted half white and half chocolate. She advised on icing color and design layout. It was PERFECT and also very tasty. Not sweet at all. Thank you... read full comment

Well stocked, great selection... But not the least expensive option.
