“All banks are the same but not all bank staff are the same, the team at Strathroy CIBC are always friendly and helpful, and are great at showing me that, even though I am certainly not their biggest or most important client overall, I am at the moment I’m in front of them.
Recently renewed my mortgage with CIBC, if it wasn’t for Melissa, I would’ve done it elsewhere.
I had another mortgage advisor from a branch I used to bank at reach out to me, he was arrogant, did not listen and constantly interrupted me, ignoring my concerns and trying to hard sell me into what he wanted me to do.
I am very deliberate and when making most decisions give myself a list of pros and cons. Melissa was patient and wise enough to let me speak and I answered my own objections. The other advisor cut me off when I would answer his questions and basically tell me I was wrong.
We went in to complete the docs and met with Juan, the branch manager. Very nice guy, great conversationalist and easy going. I know that they are both going to be moving on to larger roles witg CIBC in the future.”
