“We took our English Golden Lab, Lilly, to the Strathroy Pet Valu today to use their dog wash station and had such a great experience.

Lilly will turn six on March 20 and came to us with some anxiety issues when we adopted her almost a year ago. On our first visit months ago things were a little chaotic, so we weren’t sure how today would go. The moment we walked in, Michelle greeted us warmly and immediately made both us and Lilly feel comfortable.

No anxiety, no barking — just a calm and welcoming experience. Michelle even spoiled Lilly with treats, which Lilly thought was pretty wonderful.

Michelle also took the time to chat with us before we used the very well-equipped dog bath station, which is an incredible value at $15. Of course, they probably know exactly what they’re doing with that price… because we ended up leaving with plenty of toys and treats for Lilly too! 🙂
