Brandon & Ashley's NOFRILLS Sturgeon Falls

Pharmacies , Grocery Stores
Hours: Brandon & Ashley's NOFRILLS Sturgeon Falls is a large grocery store located just outside of Sturgeon Falls. It features a variety of food items, a Joe Fresh clothing section, and a pharmacy inside. The store offers many of the typical No Frills products and is generally well-stocked, with a clean environment. Customers appreciate the friendly staff who often greet shoppers and offer help. Recently, the new owners have improved the store, making it more organized and welcoming. The store participates in promotions like the Marvel Trading Card Game, where shoppers receive collectible cards for every $25 spent. However, some issues have been noted, such as the inability to use self-checkout with a shopping cart and an incident where a customer was disappointed by a price dispute. In that case, a sale price was not honored due to a misunderstanding about the expiry date on a tag, and the store owner refused to match the displayed price, which left the customer dissatisfied. Additionally, there was a concern about the lack of accessible washrooms, as a staff member indicated they could not provide access, which upset a customer who felt it was illegal not to have an accessible public restroom. On a positive note, the store has shown kindness by allowing a passing truck driver to rest in the parking lot. Overall, it is a store with good selection and friendly staff, but with some areas for improvement.
