Unfortunately our Home Hardware in Hanmer closed recently so I have been going to this location more and more. Very helpful and friendly staff, they always do their best to help you find what you need.

The Staff are helpful and knowledgeable! Greeted at the door right away, asked me what I needed and pointed me in the right direction. Needed help sealing my driveway and they got me a good sealer that was on sale!

I grew up in minnow lake. I no longer reside in the area anymore but don't live too far and still find my way in the area sometimes. The storefront girls are always really nice and helpful. I have a sodastream and these two young ladies Paige and Kayla were more than helpful in exchanging my old soda stream canister and showing me which refill to buy for mine. It really helped me do everything in one stop and I was more than grateful. The girls were really sweet too.

I typically go to home hardware for the service…very disappointed today. Looked for an item for 15 min while three staff were chatting about the size of black flies at the back paint counter. Bouchard location has never disappointed.

A great store in Minnow Lake. Pretty much have been going there since it opened. Of course they don't have lumber products, remodeling products and other items. Which leads me to head to Marcus St. and to choose between Hopeless Depot or ReturnRona. With these two stores you either can't find anybody to help you and sometimes there's three or four of them having a chat together. And you have to approach them. Don't get me wrong there's been some good service in both stores but there's been some god-awful service in both stores mostly the latter. I had a lot of remodeling to do after a disaster in my basement and I decided to change a lot of features in my basement especially the plumbing. The service was great. And yes sometimes the cashiers lineup at certain times of the day could be a bit long. The biggest problem I have with Home Hardware on 2nd Avenue is their hours. I get it closing on Sundays as it used to be in the previous days at most stores. Nothing wrong with people having Sunday off to do what they want to do spend with families or whatever. Closing at 5:00 though just doesn't do anything for me because I usually need things after 5:00 which leads me going up to the box stores up on the hill. I don't care what anybody says if you have the best store in the world at times you're going to get a little attitude from cashiers or a new person is in training that sort of thing. The same thing goes with customers they sometimes have a terrible attitude. I would give it 4.9 Stars. Ivan has always been a great help and he is retiring I believe in September because he's been there for 150 years. Good luck Ivan and have fun. And get your boss to open till at least 6:00 on the weekdays.

Needed play sand, they rung it up at cash and asked me to pull around back to get it from the warehouse.
Just a small bag, but was kind of them to load it for me. :)

Absolutely the best! Awesome and friendly service. The staff is unbelievably helpful and courteous. Always find what I am looking for and leave with the information I need to do my project. They're the best!

Love this place. They are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable!! Every single staff member is right there with help for all your projects' needs. I'm there at least once a week and will continue to do so.
