Called Home depot was on hold for 29 minutes then got cut off. Then called back was on hold 10 minutes then got cut off. Then called back to a different department hoping I could talk to a REAL person and did told him what happened and ask him if he could switch me to someone I could talk to yep sure will then switched me yes was put on hold and waited then said to myself well likely will be cut off again so I hung up. I know you guys are busy but if its this bad just say no call will be taken at this time. So word to the wise go there if you need some info as that's all I wanted. Now I will bring my business somewhere else.

Avoid the installation services! Went through this Home depot to get our garage door replaced last year. Waited 3+ months for the installation, which ended up happening in the winter. Fast forward the following summer. Because the trim/gasket was installed too tight and in the cold of winter, once summer came it expanded and pushed out ~3/4" from the frame. Called up HD for warranty repair in July. Fast forward again 5 months to December and 20+ phone calls still has not been repaired. Every time I talk to someone (for the record, all I have spoke to have been 'managers') I am told they will get back to me in a week. I wait, end up calling them back in 1 1/2 weeks, everyone is surprised that no one has called me back and that it is still not done, and I get promised that they will look into it and get back to me in a week....lather rinse and repeat! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

some departments in Home Depot may be ok, but not the Painting Department. I asked advice on what type of paint to use; 'painting department' salesman told me to use the more expensive "Marquis" by Behr....he told me 'it is one coat coverage'....I told him that is hard to believe (this line of paint is almost 25% more expensive than Behr's other line)...He assured me again that it is one coat coverage ; I bought the paint even though I was skeptical about its claims and paid the extra in cost. Returning the next day to buy more paint for an additional room, I asked the 'paint salesman' that was there this day about the claims made the prior day about this Marquis paint. He told me that one coat coverage is true but only if you pick from a certain line of colours, he also told me he was sorry for what the 'other guy' said but he wasn't the manager......bottom line, if you need advice on Home Depots products, don't bother asking someone that works there.

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN HOME DEPOT'S CUSTOM BLINDS SERVICE My 76 year old mother ordered custom blinds in July 2016 - yes, 2016 - and Home Depot has still not completed the order to her satisfaction. The Home Depot 'decorating consultant' was so rushed that my mother felt pressured to choose a color on the spot from a very limited selection. We first saw the blinds five months later, on December 7th, 2016 when the installer finally arrived. Of course, the colour was wrong and we have been trying to get it corrected since then, only to be told that the return window is 10 days from original purchase. This, after having to wait months for delivery! My mother is now stuck with almost $2,500 worth of blinds that are not what she wanted. Home Depot is defending their flawed process, even up to the district service manager. Clearly, their satisfaction guarantee is meaningless and has left us feeling quite frustrated overall. At this point, to make it right, Home Depot should actually honour their satisfaction guarantee and offer a full refund.

Your standard home depot. Truly noyhing to write home about. Free wifi is meh. Parking is always an adventure. You pay for brand name and some of the priciest commodities here.

Nothing Fancy, This is the biggest home depot north of Barrie. Service is alright, lots of parking and they have carts available for free.
