I was at the Royal Bank on Regent Street on Thursday of the Easter weekend. A homeless man was sitting outside, obviously in need and hoping someone would help. He wasn't bothering anyone, or causing any problems, but a woman who worked at the bank came out and told him to leave.I'm sure this woman was acting on instructions, which tells me that the people working there have no sympathy or respect for anyone who's less fortunate than they are. Things are hard right now - with so many people in need, I would have expected some empathy or at least understanding. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a home or enough to eat. But obviously neither that woman nor the Royal Bank have no ethical compass. Shame on them and the bank.

Terrible customer service. You can't reach the branch directly by telephone. You're sent to a tiresome prompting nightmare to finally reach a call center. Wait times are horrible!!!!

The customer service is terrible, I've sent some emails and voice mails, but I've recieved nothing, nothing. It's service let me down, and I wont recommend anybody to open account there.

Compared to my previous bank, these people are unbelievable! I never have to wait long (like 3 minutes tops). Never hassled. Always a perfect transaction - i'm in, i'm out. 5 stars. Never change :)
