I get their fig cake whenever I can from the Memorial Centre Farmers’ Market. Such and amazing unique flavour profile, perfect texture, and the candied salted caramel coconut on top is insane.

Did a stop at this lovely bakery in Sydenham, Ontario and bought some pretzels and a scone. Just yummy! Lovely welcoming atmosphere and nice selection.

We purchased double chocolate cookies, a challah bread, a small cake that was like sticky toffee pudding, pretzels and some flour. All of the baked goods were spot on great. We would make the drive again (a bit over an hour each way). The folks working that day, who assume were the owners, were very friendly and helpful.

Grains & Goods founder Roland Jensch learned to bake bread in Germany, where he grew up. Inspired by one of the world’s best bread cultures and his grandfather, who was a master baker, Roland’s artisan breads are carefully crafted in small batches from the best ingredients.
Grains & Goods draws on traditional German recipes and the culture of Abendbrot - the typical evening meal of a variety of breads accompanied by a selection of spreads, meats and cheeses - that is common across Germany. Our feature breads are a crusty sourdough, a hearty seed bread, a flavour-packed 100% rye loaf, and authentic German soft pretzels. We also offer a selection of sweet treats and seasonal items.
