Craigleith Ski Club

Hours: Craigleith Ski Club is a well-run, private club with terrific facilities and a friendly atmosphere. The club is praised for its great management and efficient operation. It features two amazing chalets, including a beautiful brand new lodge and a rustic wooden one, both offering beautiful spaces. A second lodge called The Depot provides full food and drink options, including a decent menu for adults and children, a cafe serving Starbucks, and a bar with a nice beer selection and a great tap and wine selection. The slopes offer a diverse variety of runs for all skill levels, from a beginner 'magic carpet' hill to challenging double black diamonds, with fun moguls, jumps, and a really good terrain park. The runs are perfectly groomed, described as velour or crushed velvet, and the snowmaking is noted. The resort offers one of the most beautiful views of the lake, with spectacular sunsets. Lift lines are minimal with almost no waiting, thanks to high-speed quad lifts and helpful lifties who provide fun trivia. The staff are incredibly helpful, accommodating, and super, both on and off the hill. Great instructors offer regular lessons and a delightful Track 3 program, with coaches who are very encouraging and helpful. The club is also a beautiful Georgian Bay venue for weddings or corporate events, with excellent staff, service, and food. It is a very friendly place where people are happy and welcoming, with many families skiing together. Parking is plentiful and the overall experience is highly enjoyable.
