Worse experience ever at this branch. So slow working tellers. The Asian guy, (wish I know his name), making mistakes all the time on my account. So I have to be back home and call BMO online to fix it. How the teller get this job at the bank,is anybody checking their qualifications? He keeps going and asking questions to other worker what to do. Awful experience! Never gonna be back there!

The branch has the best Mandarin service which I ever been. Rose Song supplied excellent service for me. She explained every detail so patiently and kindly. Even accidentally, when I had some problems about my credit card or checking account, she replied very soon. I felt very comfortable and grateful for her considerate service to customers.

There are such stupid people there, you can't even connect a card in half an hour they gave me a new card and after 2 minutes this card was blocked and they said that I should call somewhere

I really like BMO Banks always offered me good service and satisfaction but the other day walked in into this particular branch and had very bad experience
My drives was expired so I went to Ontario services that same day and updated my information, I received the temporary slip which is a valid document as long as I have my old drivers license with me. So I tired to open up an account but the bank teller asked me to wait so that he can verify with the branch manager..
I happen to over hear the conversation because the she was very vocal about it and the teller was sad to tell me that request was rejected. I did not like the attitude nore did I like the atmosphere so I tired to explain that the ladies at Ontario Services mentioned that it is a valid document acting as a real ID.
Told the teller I completely understand and asked to have my documents back..
The teller proceeds to take down my information with a photocopy of both sides of my old expired ID.
The teller asked to verify my information again and took the documents out of my hands!
I apologized and took it back telling "sorry if you can't help me then why are you taking down my info?"
At that point he was not unresponsive and told them I'm going to go to a different bank and try this again.
Went across the plaza to TD Bank
The immediately scheduled me an appointment
And now TD Bank got a customer with a few grand
This Branch will keep losing customers as long as the branch manager is very controlling and keeps up with that attitude.

Very slow and bad customer service the average wait time for a simple transaction is at least 20 minutes...tellers just keep walking around as if they don't know what they're doing.

Soo, lazy branch manager, and her workers. It’s been my certain time I was visiting this branch, and they always refuse in advance and then - “we have a system issue”

Hello manager,
This is Cathy Xiao. June 24, 2024 I went to BMO located in 800 Steels Ave West Thornhill ON to meet Rose Song. I had a very good communication with her and she really helped me a lot. For my mortgage I didn't mention in advance to pay it monthly as my old 25 years schedule. So she had apply with my current info on the file in BMO system. When I mentioned my request, she immediately talked with her manager and called the necessary dept to change it. This lasted for almost 50 minutes which is her lunch time. After she has finished my case, she only left 10 minutes to have her lunch. As 2.00pm she will have a next appointment with client. I was deeply moved by her dedication and professionalism. Say thank you once again for her good service!!!

Horrible experience at this branch today with a russian lady who had an office. This woman, Natasha, made some inappropriate comments with regard to my financial situation. When i asked some basic questions to better understand how things work (so I can better prepare for the future), I was treated with impatience, a bad attitude, and full-on disrespect. I had to request the branch manager's help, who was able to take over and calmly answer my questions and help me out with my request. I was honestly surprised that this BMO branches' bad reviews are actually accurate!

Hi guys. I want to tell you what happened to me. I need to deposit a cheque. A guy who served at first, told me in a very nice manner that he will put my cheque on hold for 2 days and he needs verify it and make a fax to them. And if you want to verify it yourself at another bank you need to go there. I went to another bank but couldn't do that because of some reason (it is a bank's business), but when I came back I hade a chance to speak to assistant branch manager Homa Rashidi. When she told me she's gonna put my cheque on hold for 5 or 7 days or even for a month I was pretty surprised. And at that moment she is saying to me "why are you lifting your browns"(what?) Is that a correct behavior between a customer and bank employee. When I said why is that too long to verify my cheque (I know for sure TD customers can get it in 15-20 min. thought a phone call) She threw me a cheque with words:"so go to TD.." Exuse me..is that a nice manner to talk to your customer?
