Horrible Customer Service..Had Immobilizer installed on brand new Rubicon. after receiving vehicle from installation. incorrect starting sequence was given right off the bat. no biggie.. got it resolved. also wrong instructions to change pin was given also.. getting frustrated. left dealer cause was in hurry. only to find out that now the wireless carplay or basic functions inside the jeep doesn’t work. so i rush back expecting to get it looked at.. but since they were “closing” they wouldn’t take a look at it. me being visibly frustrated got a little angry. instead of trying to help the situation all of a sudden the owner Shahram got aggressive and started yelling back at me.. screaming “see i can yell too” very immature for a owner of a dealership to be acting like this. especially after dropping 80k on a Jeep and another 1500 on a immobilizer. u would think he would be a little more mature.

There is a reason this dealer never has customers inside it. The owner Shahram is one of the worst I’ve seen, as far as customer service is concerned. Never seen the owner of a dealership turn away a customer that just spent 80k on a Jeep, and then 1500 on an install, in such a rude manner. Refused to listen to the customers concern, began to raise his voice at the customer and became aggressive.

I have had no issues at any one dealership ever until I engaged with North York Chrysler for my Jeep Wrangler.Living in North York, I had alway’s shopped around for oil change prices due to warranty on my brand new vehicle. Different Dealerships would provide different quotes and prices which can vary from $20-$50 dollars. This dealership, Carhub North York Chrysler (NYC) has been used once in December 15 2021, and once on December 6th 2022. Both times, I have received subpar service to borderline rude.Please read below of my account of the deplorable ‘service’ they provide to customers.Dec 15, 2021 - The service desk does not want to get up and assist you standing their for at least 15 minutes. When service is being done, it took several hours to get an oil change done, with no offer of shuttle, uber, or estimated timeline. I wish I could have recorded the snarky, rude and annoyed tone of the desk. I can see in reviews this is not a one time event, and a common theme here.Dec 6, 2022 - Price shopping for Oil changes, NYC beat out neighbouring dealerships so I happily brought the printed out quote they provided me few days ago, and my vehicle to get an oil change. During vehicle service, I received yet another text message from (Direct Quote) '[Redacted] - Disel synthetic oil and filter change is approximately $275 + tax….Are we okay to proceed?…Best Wishes, [Redacted]" With the time, dedicated to quoting, booking, and taking a day off for service I had no choice but to accept the quote that went from $289 tax in, to $310. Later that week I received a text from staff from NYC asking for a review based on my satisfaction of service. I reviewed that I am disappointed how pricing can change on a whim, and the rudeness of staff.December 13, 2023 - A week ago I booked a service appointment for my Jeep Wrangler, that was having Death Wobble Issues. at 48’000km’s it was well within Warranty, and again I planned on taking a day off to get this issue rectified, along with a Urgent Vehicle Recall. Online booking through Carhub was successful and I eagerly awaited my appointment as the vehicle was unfit to drive due to mechanical error.Dec 13 2023 - I receive a phone call at 9:11am and a voicemail was left. It was 'staff' advising that ‘ there is no body shop on site so we are unable to provide service to your appointment tomorrow’Dec 13 2023 - I receive a text message from 'staff' via Carhub NYC at 9:40am (direct Quotation)“...It has come to our attention that on your last visit on December 6th 2022 you indicated displeasure with our services and our service centre team. We can no longer fulfill your vehicle service needs to your satisfaction. Therefore, as of December 13 2023 Carhub cannot retain you as a client. For this reason, we suggest you select another Chrysler service centre to provide vehicle-related services. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your business over the past year. We wish you all the best for the future”after a back and forth on text, I called back to speak about this issue, and was advised that she was just passing the message and a manager will call me.On December 13 2023 - Manager Team calls and advises, amongst other things,‘I read your feedback….and we have a right to choose our customers.”Incredibly disheartening, disbelief, and shame on your service and how you dealt with the your customer service. Do not ask for feedback via a survey to assist you in correcting your own shortcomings during service, and use that as a means to deny service to customers that purchased your brand, under warranty. I will never recommend your Dealership, or service centre. Shame on Carhub NYC.Don't just reply to negative reviews to substantiate your service as you always have done, it shows how ignorant to the problem your management is.

Here is my experience:I seen a used vehicle advertised online and made arrangements for a same day test drive. They accommodated me with this. Satisfied with this test drive I proceeded to sit down with the sales rep who goes on about that the vehicle in question is NOT available for cash purchases. Huh ? You mean I cant buy this car in full using bank draft / certified funds ??? Sales rep called the manager on duty at the time and he repeats exactly the same . What ???? So the manager goes on about financing the car and they have a $750 finance fee. I declined. Walked out. Ever heard of Cash is King ? What about my time ? Couldn't the sales rep inform me of this preposterous policy before hand so that I do not waist my time or his time for that matter. I get the fact that the dealership earns more $$ ( Fee + Bank Reserve ) when vehicles are financed , however has management considered the harm this does to your staff. How do they earn a living ? Turning down a sale? Really ? This only builds sales rep frustrations, anxiety and resentment towards the management and will produce a negative environment on your floor resulting in turnover in staff.Its a tough and competitive market and management must support the sales staff in every aspect, especially when it comes to money namely $$ Sales staff earnJust word to the wise..Revised :In reference to your Canned response. Keep hiding behind your "Disclaimer" How's this for Transparency.: When someone calls in wanting to see a vehicle and a test drive the sales rep should and must say .. " Hey Mr. Customer if your thinking of paying cash for this vehicle we will not accept it. Only finance " I would not have waisted time . I would not have bothered to come in. Ridiculous Policy. For CarHub Sales reps reading this , have some self respect and confidence in your abilities. There are plenty of other dealers who encourage and support the sales team. Do yourself good. Bounce !CheersUpdate Dec 12. 2023Hurrah. It seems that you are now able to purchase a used car by payment in full without financing . Is this a win for us consumers? WRONG ! Again with their " Disclaimer" as follows:"Cash purchases for used vehicles have a $2,200 surcharge (the finance price + $2,200)" What !!! Wait a minute ....so a purchaser wanting a used car without financing will be penalized by a $ 2,200 fee ? Really ?All-in price advertising is the law! The price advertised for a motor vehicle must include all fees and charges the dealer intends to collect, with the exception of HST and licensing. Also, the advertised price must clearly and prominently indicate HST and licensing are not included. This dealer advertises one price and if you want to pay in full without financing BOOM $2,200 extra. How is that All in Price? Still hiding behind your "Disclaimer" Consumer Laws in Ontario need to be stiffened and above else ENFORCED !

The dealership's actions are against OMVIC's rules regarding pricing. They don't honor their advertised prices, charging $2200 extra!! for cash purchases and an additional $750 for financing. This defeats the intention behind the price tag. Such cunning methods are out of date and unacceptable in today's world.
