I stopped at the branch to make a xfer and there were some complications which I had to gain some information.
I did and tried to get in line to continue the process but Diane forced me to the end of the line. No surprise this branch rating is 2.2 out of 5.
Customer service is not their first priority.

Over the last few years, I have had the honor and great pleasure of being assisted by my trusted financial advisor, Joseph Tucciarone at the Yonge and John Street location in Thornhill. I could not be more impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and his dedication to my needs. Throughout this time, Joseph has been friendly, attentive, genuinely and sincerely committed to guiding me and finding the best solutions for my banking needs. He has consistently taken the time to clearly and patiently explain each detail, making sure I fully understand my options and and feel comfortable with my decisions. Joseph's depth of knowledge has made each experience smooth and exceptionally stress-free. In him, I have found someone who easily combines a high level of expertise with an engaging, personable and completely approachable demeanor. I can not and will not speak for anyone else when I say as I see it, Joseph Tucciarone represents Scotiabank's pledge for top-flight customer service. Because of Joseph, my family and I feel valued and well cared for. This man is not only a financial advisor. He is a relationship builder.

I am always impressed with this branch and the exceptional service I receive. Jason and Mahzad are consistently professional, attentive, and genuinely focused on understanding my needs. Jason offers great advice, and Mahzad goes above and beyond to provide the best solutions. Thanks to their support, I always leave feeling confident and well taken care of. I booked an appointment online and I went to the branch 5 minutes early before my appointment time. My appointment was with MEHMAN TATLIYEV and at my appointment time, he served someone else in front of me. I told him that I had an appointment with you at noon and he asked me about a passport copy which wasn't required in the confirmation email it was only required one ID and business documents and asked me to get it and come back.
Just to serve someone else he tried to send me back and he can serve another person

Absolutely horrible service. Terrible and rude staff. Inconvenient hours. I have left and opened a new account with TD. Bank literally anywhere else. This Branch is also the worst of them all.

The ridiculous attitude of the bank employees is astonishing. They put a torn bill in half in an ATM and asked for the customer's ID and bank card to replace it. In addition, the two lazy working women are stunned. Why do you put in ripped money and get a $3 fee? You need to apologize properly and change it. Reflect

Honestly those scam callers have more manners than this branch. I'm usually against AI replacing jobs, but if it were to, I think they should start with this branch.

Booked a phone call appointment from 12:45-1:30pm today and the advisor never called. His name is Syed Essa Hus Kazmi. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous behaviour. I took time out of my day to prepare for this call and was met with nothing, not even an email to reschedule. If management reads these reviews they should know to fire or at least investigate this advisor.

I walked into this branch with positive attitude and received excellent, positive service. We had appointments with Jason and Omid. Both are great at dealing with clients. Omid was super patient, professional and detailed to fulfill our request perfectly. He took his time and went extra mile to help us achieve more than what we came for. Dealing with these bright young dedicated employees was pretty consistent with my previous positive experiences at this branch from last years, so I've decided to take the time and write this review. In my opinion, this branch is very well managed. If you happen to have a different experience, I would suggest trying to stay calm and positive and reach out to the branch manager, who is super helpful, friendly and supportive to the staff and clients.

Not usually one to write a bad review but this place needs to come with a warning.
Their ATM ate $800 and they refused to help or do anything about it. Had to call multiple numbers and finally reach head office in order for this branch to help us get our money back.
We deposited a check that was kept on hold for over a month. Couldn’t get any answers as to why it was on hold nor if they can return the money to the sender so that we could get another check. They just kept directing us to the wrong people and telling us the person who we had to speak with wasn’t available or wasn’t working. Ended up calling their customer service number who was able to help us and give us answers instantly.
If I could give this branch 0 stars I would.
