Was on my way, empty handed, to my nephew’s first birthday and stopped by last minute; staff was great at pointing me in the right direction for toys in his age range and even wrapped it nicely for me so I was all set! Great range of toys too! I think the holidays are taking their toll on everyone but staff did their best and I appreciate it :3

“A beautiful, full-of-character bookstore that I’ve loved since I moved into the neighbourhood and got the fifth Harry Potter book on release night. My nephew has been a THRILLED recipient of the book-a-month gift (iykyk - if you don’t know … ask). They are a beating heart of Mount Pleasant! They also have a sweet selection of books for adult readers to be tempted while tiny readers browse & pet Mabel. These people know books and know midtown, protect them at all costs!!!”

Not only do I always find exactly when I want when I’m coming in here, customer service is the best in the neighbourhood. All three of these lovely ladies are always so helpful and friendly. A fantastic selection of both new and consignment items.

“The first time I came here was about a year ago-- I am from the US. I followed them on IG and loved all the different kinds of stock they get, plus they are one of the few blind box stores with around 19.1K followers on social media so I was eager to see what the hype was about.
Their assortment of boxes is great! Lots of variety. Prices aren't horrible either. The shop is very bright and colorful. The boxes were all displayed and stacked neatly. I noticed a lot of the reviews complained about the cigarette scent- I didn't smell it at all. I particularly love their artist alley in the back half of the store. A great way to support small businesses/artists by buying their merch, etc. I will say the back half of the store (artist alley) is quite messy and a bit disorganized.
I knocked down a point mainly due to customer service. I've been here a total of two times. The first time I received little to no customer service- not even a hi welcome in. Same thing with this most recent visit almost a year later. Coincidentally it was the same female staff worker both times who checked me out. She seemed very stand-offish and a bit intimidating to be honest lol. I would ask about trading because I'm not exactly sure how the intricacies of the trading community/how their store runs besides the selling of blind boxes, and her response made me feel silly for asking like I should've known the answer.
I hate to make a deal out of customer service as it seems like most people who have reviewed didn't have this issue. Perhaps it was just bad luck with the this particular staff both times. But as someone who has worked in customer service before, it's something that can really make a shopping experience memorable.”

“I stumbled across this place when looking online for some Haikyuu and Blue Lock merchandise and fell in love with this place ever since. The storefront is cozy and packed with anime figurines, blind boxes, and a variety of merchandise spanning different series, with new things always popping up. The store owners are incredibly generous and friendly, able to help with any of your questions, concerns and needs. This store is truly my go to and highly recommended if you want to have a good time exploring a hobby shop. I hope more people can get to know this place because it's really super awesome!”

“Was visiting the GTA for the weekend, and stumbled across this awesome place. Great finds at prices that match market value. Don’t be afraid to ask the employees any questions regrading pricing.
The prices fluctuate on some of their products, that’s why everything isn’t labelled with a price - for those who are complaining in the reviews. I found a couple of amazing Knick knack finds and a couple of PS3 games for a very reasonable price and the employee that helped me was willing to make a bargain or two that was beneficial to me as the customer, with the vendor still able to profit and keep the place going.

“So I've been on this hunt for advent calendar stuff and all the stores near me were out of stuck of this book I was looking for. Using the Indigo app (despite how bad it can be) I found this location was the easiest for me to get to. I had a rollercoaster of a day yesterday and I was wandering the second floor for a while, going up and down ready to give up. It was hard to find a worker that wasn't busy (and really I only saw maybe two walking around) as I didn't want to disrupt them. So I decided to grab something and head to cash out and asked at the register if they had these items. I felt at ease talking with the guy at the register, he was so friendly and charismatic with everyone. And many thanks to the guy who found both of the items I had come for (because the app was so unhelpful haha). I wish I lived closer so I could frequent this Indigo more often. Their upstairs section is so cozy by the windows and easy to find, a minute walk from Eglinton station.”
