“Very open to all, not just Christians. This is mostly volunteer-run, with a few permanent workers only. They provide housing in multiple locations of Thunder Bay, and in the Abbey itself is a women's shelter.I like meditating in the prayer tower. Lots of interesting folx eat at their table for lunch time and I've enjoyed interacting with people from all walks of life there.Coffee quality is tied for 2nd in terms of taste city wide. I won't say who is #1, or who it is tied with. They get fresh beans from a Canadian company, JJ Bean.”
“A long standing supporter of the Dew Drop In!!! An important part of Thunder Bay, made possible by St. Andrew's Church!!! The Dew Drop In is located behind the Church to the right. You walk towards the back of the church, it is nestled in at the back between the Church and the building beside it, just knock on the door!!! :)”
“I have volunteered and donated for over 10 years at Grace Place and I can say that all the leaders have a heart of gold. They show, love and care for all the volunteers as well as those that step through the door. Grace Place offers free hot food, free clothing , free haircuts, free prayer and free out or the cold support as well as other support . The volunteers also care for the individuals that come for help, support, or a listening ear and provide many, many hours of valuable service! This ministry is based on Christian values to support the hungry, the homeless, the hurting, and the needy! May God continue to bless all that encounter the Grace Place's love. Thank you every donor that makes Grace Place run and thrive for 17 years!”
“Popped in Sunday morning for service while here for work. Very friendly environment. A classic ACOP service and exactly what I expected. Felt just like home. And will attended again if I’m laid over in Thunder Bay on a Sunday again.”

“It was my first time in town and I was very happy when I saw the ISKCON cultural centre on the maps. The congregation was very welcoming: we participated of the ceremony at 7pm and the Bhagavad-gita class right after. ????♀️
It was great to meditate and uplift my mood, meeting new people that are enthusiastic in advance in spiritual practices. I highly recommend you to visit this place! ?✌?”
“Everyone welcomes you warm-heartedly and treat you like their family. I love being there every Sunday. The Rev is also so concerned it’s a weekly treat with great music and Service. It’s a suggested place for a new Comer like me to ignore loneliness and grow spiritually in a new place with peace.”
“I have a couple of friends that attend this church for faith based ministries of the Holy Bible and Jesus. I found the message was clear and articulated well. The community was friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a Christian connection to your higher power there is potential to find it here. The Church also hosts community recovery meetings and events in lower level space with kitchen access. There is a children's room avaklable as well.”
“My wife and l returned to Redwood after leaving, we were disappointed that Joel and Mark left. We thought we would give it another try, 8 weeks in a row and loving it again ??”
