I called them very late on a Saturday night for an unconventional request to have them move a large aircraft part (crated) from Thunder Bay to Ottawa, as soon as possible. In under 30 minutes they called back with a solution. Fast replies, polite staff. Very relieved they are a partner for us in Thunder Bay and beyond.

Brenda just lost this business a $1300 sale because she could not return a call or respond to an email. Great work Brenda!

Well, everyone is right; they are time wasters. I called on a Thursday to schedule a commercial tow for a dump truck on the upcoming Saturday as I figured maybe giving them a heads up to prepare would be needed which they agreed they would need when I talked to dispatch. I called and explained the situation and they said they would email me with some questions about the tow, so I thought sure no problem. They wanted a whole bunch of useless information, license plate number, last 6 digits of the vin, 4 photos of each corner, does it run, blah blah blah they basically wanted a whole biography on the dump truck. It wasn’t on my property and I only had the front facing photos from the seller’s original ad on Kijiji. I told dispatch when they asked if there was any damage to the truck that there was only one flat tire in the rear. After emailing them as much answers as I could provide to all their questions, they emailed back saying “hello, how are the tires?” After I already told them on the phone to dispatch they all have some air except for one flat. So I emailed them the answer again; all have some air except one flat in the rear and then I got no response. Friday morning I emailed the dispatch again looking for an affirmative yes or no, and they then never responded. I called again at noon and they again asked if I had the 4 photos of each corner and I explained to them for a SECOND time that no I do not it’s not on my property; the seller of the truck has it on his property so I can’t just take photos on the spot. So the lady I spoke to that time on dispatch said she’ll print the photos off that i already emailed them and said she’ll ask around the office to see if they can do it tomorrow and will call me back shortly with an answer. An hour went by and nothing from Gary’s towing.I explained previously to them the seller wants this truck gone sooner than later and I figured by calling in advance that would make it easier all around, well was I ever wrong for trusting Gary’s towing. I called them 48 hours in advance for them just to ask a bunch of questions and for them to hum and haw and never get back to me with an answer. All they did was waste my time asking questions. Why do you need to ask so many questions? I just need you to tow a dump truck from point A to point B. You send your wrecker to location A, securely attach the dump truck and tow it to point B. I’m not a tow truck driver and I just explained the entire job in one sentence. The other company I called to come get it didn’t require any photos or all these questions. Just asked the make and model, where it is and where it’s going on what day and time. Easy peasy the way it should be. Gary’s towing just wasted my time and frustrated me AND the seller of the dump truck. I told the seller Gary’s is coming on Saturday, to telling him “they never gave me a definitive answer I’ll call around again to re-schedule and find a different company”. I hate leaving bad reviews but sheesh this was the definition of dropping the ball with Gary’s towing. Complete waste of my time and the seller’s time. They won’t be getting my business in the future that’s for sure, no way can I possibly trust them to do any sort of job for me with their incompetence to tell me if they can or can not tow something for me.

Had the displeasure of using there services. May be a good company (not sure) but the driver we had was absolutely the least professional person I’ve ever met. If you have to use this company make sure it’s not Ross Cummings. I have to assume Gary’s has to be aware of this employees unprofessionalism, he wears it like a badge.

Super helpful in a fairly fraught situation. Stuck with us for 7 hours after CAA dropped the ball, even if it did take until 3 am to get us into town with rv on the deck. Super grateful to Mike, Jordan, A.J. and Justin.

I don't know what happened here recently, but this business has completely gone to sh¡t. They took over 24 hours to pick up my car, within Thunder Bay city limits, and my car still isn't at the mechanic 5 days later. These people do not know how to run a business, and it's embarassing for humanity.Sincerely,Alexander William Forrest MiltonPresidentThunder Bay Tech Kart IncorporatedService: Car towing
