got charged double for parts . they charged a tune up $80 and tires not even had sufficient air. got taken by theses clowns. paid my bill but now gonna speed the word .im from terrace bay and trusted these guys for some reason.2 1/2 hr drive cause I was told they were good. but no. do NOT go here. a simple google search for parts clearly shows they double charge and then they charge for a service that they do not provide. hope you got rich from me , clowns. lOl

same experience as other poster. paid $80 for a tuneup and asked them to look at tires. they claimed they did the work, but nothing showed signs of being tuned and also tires still flat. went back a second time, waited 15 minutes for the clerk to stop chatting with his female friends, asked them to look at tires again. left the bike with them....picked up the bike and NO pressure in tires. waste of time.

The very best in quality service from a family business who have made bikes their passion. They know their stock inside and out. They can be trusted to give you exactly what is right for you.

I purchased a bike through Petries, a Sugar Skull Beach cruiser! It cost over $1000 and two years later my breaks stopped working. I went back to the store and was told that part was actually recalled but they never called me, they even refused to fix the bike or try to get the new part. I don’t know if it was the owner but there’s a gentleman there and he was very aggressive and he would yell and scream at me. I actually had to call the police, I do not recommend buying any high-end type of bike from the store because they will rip you off!

Fit me in quick, but didn’t fix what I asked for and ended up charging me quite a bit. I think they meant well, just a bit of a lack of customer service

We are travelling by RV from BC and my husband was having issues with flat tires on his bike. They took us right away and had us back on the road within a half hour. As well, we understand what happened because they took the time to explain it to us. Super friendly people, excellent service and reasonable prices. If I lived in Thunder Bay, this would be my go-to place for bike maintenance. Many thanks for the education and the fix!

Terrible service. Do not recommend at all. I brought my bicycle in for a tune-up. They charged me over $60 and did nothing. The brakes are not installed properly so they squeak constantly and they made my bike less safe to ride on the terriblly maintained Thunder Bay streets. Incompetent and dangerous 'service' here!!

A great bike shop. Moved here from Ottawa and was surprised to find a store of this quality and personal and honest service.Years after my original post, it is still the premier bike store in Thunder Bay. Like Home Hardware on Memorial, you just can't beat long-time knowledgeable and dedicated staff.

Man on the phone has absolutely no customer service skills. I called asking about pricing and he yelled in my ear "NOT A CHANCE" if you need a bike forn an afforable price don't go here. I would reccomend Fresh Air over them for sure if not just for the fact that they know how to treat customers.

When I dropped my bike off for repairs the gentleman I dealt with was knowledgeable and helpful. However when I picked up my bike, the young man at the counter told me what was wrong, said they couldn’t repair the part and didn’t replace it because it’s a cheap bike so I should just buy a new one. Regardless of what a persons bike is worth, that is not how someone should speak to a customer. My bike is still broken, what a total waste of time and money, I still had to pay $70 for the “repair”. And to add insult to injury the young man didn’t even get off the stool to open the door so I could get my bike out of the front door.Thank you for absolutely nothing.
